For many months now I have been having trembling throughout my whole body 24 seven and it’s driving me insane. It never stops all through the night waking me up many times in the night and only managing to get about 3 to 4 hours sleep at the most very often only two hours, I’ve got AS from L2 to L5 and also further up my spine and in my neck as well as two fractures in my spine, can anybody tell me if they also get trembling all the time and if so, what do they find the best way to stop them or at least to make them less of a nuisance because they really do drive me insane almost to the point to give me claustrophobic feeling as I can’t get away from them any help or advice would be more than welcome . many thanks.

have you seen your doctor ? You need to go again if you have. You need to book one to be seen. Not a phone call. You could have Parkinson’s . We can’t say. We are not trained.
I hope you get better soon.
I get this too. I can't really say what triggers it or what helps but yes it does drive me insane. You can't really understand unless you experience it, doc's just say it's anxiety and give me more pills. It feels like something is wrong in my body and the only thing that helps is distraction.
Good that your doctor has arranged blood tests. My mother had ankylosing spondylitis but never had this.
Is it there all the time or does it vary during the day? I would suggest that if it varies you keep a note of when it occurs. You could ask for a referral e.g. to a neurologist, to check that there is nothing else going on. Not being able to sleep isn't good for overall health. My mother was prescribed a low dose of amitriptyline at night to help with sleep.
