x-ray results
just been down to the surgery to find out the results from my lumbar spine x-ray, the receptionist wouldn't print it off for me till the gp sees it but she said it says no lumbar spine fracture, and the x-ray I had for thoracic spine was there is a mild superior end-plate fracture at l1, otherwise normal

Just found the PRDA!

. I struggle to achieve balance and quality of life. Each doctor that I see offers a suggestion, but I get the feeling that I’m mostly on my own, as they’ve done their jobs and I’m still alive.

Kaiser Fresno has stopped prescribing Xtandi, even for people midstream with it. they are switching over to xytega and prednisone.
just what it says. I went to renew my monthly , extremely effective , Xtandi a couple of days ago and today I’ve been told that my Xtandi prescription has been canceled, and I see on my prescriptions list, Zytiga and prednisone. Never a single word from anybody about this for anything. Basically I’m

Lovenox/Enexoparin
Hi Happy New Year! Hi Kelly in Texas! It’s been a while! Just want to let everyone know if you’re on Lovenox/Enexoparin , it can give you osteoporosis! My hemotologist never told me, nor did he order a decascan! In June I was opening a window and I hear a crack and fell into my sink Lol… glad it was

GPA flare, is it likely even if I only have 1 symptom
I was diagnosed with GPA in 2017, I have had 3 flares since initial diagnosis and although the symptoms have got milder each time, I always have the same symptoms - pain and loss of hearing in my ear, discomfort and blood in my nose, pain and stiffness in my finger joints and extreme fatigue. I regularly

Does this make sense to anyone?
I have 6 or 7 spinal
fractures
, all lumbar and T 12. I have chronic pain once I have been upright for a few hours. This includes pain up the left side of my back and especially my left shoulder, neck and head which has been getting worse over the last few months and keeps me awake at night.

Any young people with shitty bones on this?
My
fractures
were even misdiagnosed for so long because they didn’t believe it could happen to someone in their 20s

`psa level
I have now been on Firmagon (hormone therapy) for 23 months .I have stage 4+4 with an original PSA of 375.I had 6 rounds of chemo which killed off the majority of the cancer in bones and lungs.Only a couple of tiny spots in the lungs. My professor tells me i have had a very good result on many trips

Brain lesion
anybody here who experienced brain lesions that might be from PCa? Current PSA is 0.025. It’s just confusing that after ADT works to remove all the symptoms including bone pain from bone mets, my dad was diagnosed with brain lesion after an MRI since he had mild stroke symptoms(slurred speech). Does

Update omeprazole versus Famotodine
I'm disappointed because of the gallstones and the threat of more
fractures
but I guess if I don't, my esophagus will get worse next. But being on calcichew D3 is helping the bones...I hope.

results from spinal x-ray,:h:thoracic spine, :n:
there is a mild superior end-plate fracture at l1, otherwise normal vertebral alignment, vertebral body height and disc height maintained, the posterior elements appear intact as far as can be assessed on plain film.anyone any thoughts on that.

Dexa results
I have just received my dexa results after a year on Prednisolone and Risedronate. Lumber spine is normal, but left hip and left neck of femur ( they only scanned the left) show Osteopenia. I understand what T scores and Z scores are, but I got three figures for each site, and I wondered if anyone knows

Zoledronic acid plus teriparatide
My wife is about to go onto treatment for fairly severe osteoporosis after a fall involving
fractures
to 3 lumbar vertebrae. According to a letter from her consultant to her GP, the consultant seemingly wants her to go onto zoledronic acid plus teriparatide.
