Now what?
My husband was DX April 2021 MPc, Stage IV, PSA 335, BRACA2. Lupron, Erleada, Provenge, Lynparza (still on), Zytiga/Pred (still on). PSA rose from 2.64 Feb 2023 to 44 Sept 2023. Biggest jumps on the last three months, 10 to 44. He is approved for 177lu, but there are a lot of unsuccessful stories

long term disability LTD
has anyone had to go onto LTD from work and if so has it been beneficial or not? Reason I ask is that I went on Short Term in May which is approved for 6 months. At that time (November) for me I either have to be well enough to go back to work or go on LTD. I have been paying for LTD Insurance for about

I was sent for X-rays to make sure there were no stress
fractures
, which there wasn’t. I was then referred to rheumatology again ( privately). They did bloods, and I was called last week to say my ANA was 1:640 homogeneous . ENA was negative for rheumatoid factors.

Curious about my experiance. Interested in what others think?
However my disabled partner was in hospital with 2 osteoporotic vertebral
fractures
and was due home in a few days with a back brace and they saw me in 5 days. It the physio who sugguested PMR and blood tests at Dr pointed in that direction, about 3 weeks from initial symptoms.

SSDI with Osteoporosis
I have read that osteoporosis with
fractures
has qualified as a disability, but I don't look disabled, and I feel like even my doctors are all, "if you walked in here without a walker, you're fine." My primary care physician says get a lawyer, and I'm sure that IS good advice.

Introduction and Strontium Ranelate
No more
fractures
in all this time and I remain the same height as when diagnosed. I've never had any side effects either. Rheumatologist very pleased with the Strontium Ranelate.

TAPERING, DEPRESSION OR BOTH?
I've been mostly stuck in my flat for the better part of 7 months due to, severe osteoporosis, 9 vertebral
fractures
and the need to "baby my back" (Osteo Specialist's words, not mine). A lot of pain. In November went to GP with possible flare. She put me back up to 20 mg. Pred.

PLUVICTO
I finished 6 treatments of Pluvicto in May 2023 with negligible PSA readings. In August of 23 my PSA jumped to 2.3, my September 14 PSA is 16.8. It seems like Pluvicto is losing it's grip. I have an appointment with my oncologist on September 25. I am sure he will order a PSMA scan. I am curious as to

Pelvis insufficiency fractures.
Which I had as i was diagnosed with Endometrial cancer, hysterectomy then several weeks later almost 5 weeks of RT, and I’m left with
fractures
. 7 weeks lying flat in bed and there. Was no change. I feel quite alone with these
fractures
as I know no one else with them.

Update on 8/4 post from alperk
To review, after 19 months on Lupron, Zytiga, prednisone, PSA increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated, 35 grays in 5 fractions. PSA crept back up to 4.2 on 9/6 and scan showed again only one active site in nearly the same location

THC/ Cannabis having Curative Effects for PC???
Ran across this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7503992/ But is there any proof that THC helps to cure PC or lower PSA? I believe it’s used for pain relief, but are its benefits been proven beyond that? Thank you very much.

GCA Symptoms?
I have severe osteoporosis with compression
fractures
and muscles are pulling tight around stomach and diaphragm. Swallowing is difficult, but I'm not afraid to swallow. Pills are most difficult and if anything is to get caught, it's a pill.
