Fostair inhaler
I took one of my
Fostair
inhalers apart the other day and found that they contain lots more powder than the device tells you.

Asthma not well controlled
I'm worried that my asthma is not well controlled, I'm on highest dose of
Fostair
which was switched from Flutiform earlier this year as my Asthma nurse believed I needed a higher dose of steroid to control my asthma as I frequently need Steroids.

trimbow in asthma
Has anyone ever used it together with
fostair
or symbicort? I know one isn't supposed to but maybe some consultants prescribe two steroid inhalers? Thank you

Fostair/Braltus
My GP prescribed me Braltus to use with my
Fostair
nexthaler but I think I had problems before with this combination. After a couple of days I remembered Using the Braltus makes the side effects I get with
Fostair
much worse Its one or the other not both Why is this?

How do you know when your ventolin is used up?
It could do with a counter on it like
Fostair
. I read something about putting it in water and judging from the way it sinks or floats. Dodgy? Any advice tips please would be very helpful from regular users - many thanks

How long can preventer take to be fully effective?
Given
Fostair
Nexthaler 2x2 from 22/8. Apart from 1 week in rural Scotland in September I'm still heavily on reliant on reliever. Bearing in mind my age & late diagnosis can anyone give me advice on how long it can take for preventer to be fully effective.

Not bronchiectasis but ? Connective tissue lung disease
GP today started me on Mucodine and
Fostair
. I'm seeing immunology in 3 weeks so hopefully that will add to the diagnosis and treatment plan.

this heat wave
I only have
Fostair
to try and control it and that’s making it difficult for me.

Mornings
In the morning first thing, as I am in my amber zone at present, I am ameant to take spiriva and then two doses of
fostair
200. My system does not like me taking
fostair
200 in the middle of an asthma attack. It basically bounces off and can make me worse.

Fostair 100/6
Hi Everyone, I’m currently on
Fostair
100/6 3 puffs twice daily. Reading the information leaflet it says to use within 3 months of dispensing from pharmacy. Does this mean 3 months from the first puff once taken out of the fridge or can I take it home and keep it in the fridge for 3 months only?

Luforbec after Fostair
I have asked to go back to
Fostair
but meeting a little opposition. I found a used
Fostair
with a bit left this morning and used it - I am in no way better but a definite improvement. The
Fostair
has more 'push' for sure and I'm using a spacer.

Why are relievers standard with preventers.
Hi,I was wondering why it seems that we are given symbicort or
fostair
to take every morning and night regardless of wether we need a reliever at that time or not. It's my understanding that taking relievers all the time can harm the lungs?

MY COPD REVIEW - Really.
I told her I was happy with Ventalin, Ipratropium bromide and
Fostair
inhalers., She mentioned Trimbow again - I said I have seen/heard how it's affected other and I don't want it, anyway - I said with AF than all at once could be a trigger.

Fostair 100/6 problems on MART with severe Asthma attack - anyone else had this?
Then last week my consultant decided to switch me back to
fostair
100/6 but on a MART. I've been taking it since Friday and today I had a severe asthma attack. My
fostair
did nothing. I took 4 puffs and luckily was walking past a hospital so I went in for help.

Trimbow / Fostair
However looking at the ingredients of
fostair
versus trimbow they look the same only trimbow has the LAMA in it too? Is that right?
