getting better but anxiety over future
Since then, I've added carbocisteine to my
fostair
200/6 and though I've had more colds/sinus/nasal issues, my chest has been ok and I've stayed off the oral steroids. I've also been trying to do running to improve awful fitness.

Haemophilus influenzae
I have had a lung wash, CT scans, X-rays, I am prescribed
Fostair
but do not really understand why I have been diagnosed with asthma as I'm not actually sure what asthma is. I do have bronchiectasis. My question is, how can I get my consultant to reconsider his asthma diagnosis?

max inhaler dose?
I saw the hospital respiratory team about a month ago, who said that it is ok to take 5 puffs rather than the suggested max 4 puffs
Fostair
200/6, as a kind of last resort before prednisolone. I’ve taken a lot of steroids this year and am trying to reduce the number of courses.

Asthma tablets Montelukast & Azithromycin
my GP has changed my inhaler from
fostair
100 mg 4 puffs a day to Trimbow 172/5/9 four puffs a day. I am giving this ago as every year in the winter I get a chest infection and end up on steroids and antibiotics. My question is on some tablet form I have been offered above .

Hi all, I recently had a severe asthma episode and was put on
fostair
200/6 twice a day. My asthma now seems fine. However, my voice is weaker, and more hoarse than it was pre medication. I am throat clearing lots.

fostair to seretide
Should I go back to
fostair
or keep trying seretide? Review & prescription change was carried out by HCA who had done a years course in asthma. She also did spirometer which showed well controlled asthma.

Severe allergic asthma constant flare ups
I have been switched form clenil 100 to
fostair
, but that caused tachycardia and tremors. Then to flutiform 125. Then to flutiform 250 which caused muscle cramps, headaches and tremors. To relvar elipta and now onto trimbow. I tried montelukast which caused severe insomnia.

My respiratory nurse has changed my inhalers from
Fostair
to Trimbow plus continuing with Spiriva. She also recommended I take Gaviscon twice a day to stop any potential acid reflux affecting my throat area as my voice gets quite hoarse by the end of the day.

5mg ventolin nebules
I am also on
fostair
200 but certainly since I was switched over to a generic salbutamol 5mg nebule which I have to nebulise 4 times a day I feel I am constantly struggling to keep on top of some very nasty asthma attacks. Dr's say it is the same drug but my body tells me a very different story.

Trimbow
I was diagnosed with Asthma in June and prescribed Clenil preventer after 6 weeks with no change prescribed
Fostair
Nexthaler. It didn't help after 9 weeks and a severe flare up I've been prescribed Trimbow 87/5/9 - anyone else using this successfully. I'm also on a short course of Predislone.

Baseline figure from lung function test
At present I can blow 350 and 400 when I take my new inhaler
Fostair
100/6 mart regime. I think I should be looking a lower figure for my top peak flow. I haven't been able to blow 500 for over a month. I had a cold, chest infection and then pneumonia.
