At present I take ventolin and
fostair
nexhaler and also carbocistene tablets. The consultant did say I’m July that he would request my gp to also prescribe spirivera inhaler but my doctors haven’t received the request as yet.

So frustrated...
The only thing she did was change my
fostair
to relvar ellipta as she claims it is stronger, no idea if that is true.. I am at the point of completely cutting off secondary care as I see no point in it.

Is it really asthma?
I'm just about to go up on my
Fostair
from 100 to 200 after struggling to breathe during the last 3 weeks, but I'm starting to wonder if it's really asthma I have.

Blue badge for severe asthma?
I have severe eosinophilic asthma and use the following:
Fostair
200 (although I may ask to switch back to the symbicort 200), spriva respimat, montelukast, fexofenadine, regular rescue pack of antibiotics and steroids also, amoung other medications for other conditions - I was due to start biological

Strange Chest Ache in the Morning
However I was just wondering if anyone else has this symptom: I currently take
fostair
200, montelukast, spiriva respimat (tiotropium) and a nasal spray for chronic sinusitis + or minus steroids and antibiotics.

Just a little rant!
I’m on benralizumab injections - I’ve had 4 now and have definitely seen an improvement,
fostair
200/6 and salbutamol when needed.

Asthma flare up since January
Asthma improved from April to the beginning of June but then the Respirtory nurse wanted me to move on to
fostair
100/6 ( apparently better for me) since the inhaler change my asthma flared up big time.

Catch 22 Again.
This is a follow-up to my my posts about
fostair
and symbicort. After doubts about warnings in the pack leaflets about caution around taking symbicort in the case of having diabetes, the practice nurse assured me there was no concern in my case.

I've also changed from Symbicort ppwder to
Fostair
powder 3 weeks ago with no improvement. I was given 40mg of steroids today and
Fostair
aerosol. Thanks

Formoterol and Albuterol
Hello again I'm on, and trailed Symbicort and
Fostair
(2xam, 2xpm and sometimes 1x dinner time) combi inhalers. I know the Formoterol side of the drug is a long acting bronchodilator but I was wondering if being on these, long term (or any term) has an affect on albuterol effectiveness?

Beware Fostair
My COPD nurse prescribed
Fostair
3 weeks back. She stopped it yesterday because, although effective for breathing relief, it made my essential tremors ten times worse. But I misunderstood her and took another dose yesterday evening (I can't pick my new prescription up until next Monday).

Sorry another Fostair question!
Hi Everyone I have been ‘encouraged’ to try a
Fostair
MDI inhaler instead of my preferred Relvar. However I am finding that it seems to be causing me a lot of reflux during the night?

New to Fostair 100/6
I’ve started on a new inhaler (from seretide to
fostair
). My consultant has told me to take 2 puffs 4x a day for 2 weeks, then 2 puffs 3x a day for 2 weeks then eventually 2 puffs twice a day then possibly a little less.

Asthma inhaler side effects
My asthma is well controlled and I take one puff of
fostair
100/6 (I’ve had asthma for about a year now.) I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with negative side effects from their inhaler?

From Fostair to Symbicort
I was on
Fostair
200/6 for two years after being on Seretide 250 for ages and it was working ok. Last few weeks I’ve been having daily symptoms. Nothing major, but constant and irritating. I spoke to my asthma nurse and she put me on Symbicort 200/6 instead.

Symbicort 100/6 for COPD?
I've just been prescribed this inhaler in place of
Fostair
. I was diagnosed with COPD in 2010 after initial confusion as to whether I had Asthma. The tests confirmed COPD not Asthma. Reading the package leaflet it tells me this inhaler is SPECIFICALLY for Asthma! It doesn't even mention COPD!

What is wrong with me? Losing the will to live!
In January I had my asthma checkup and was swapped from symbicort to
fostair
and told if it doesn’t work as well to come back. So I went back to GP end of Feb and was moved onto Relvar and swapped from Bricanyl to ventolin/salamol.
