Formoterol and Albuterol

Hello again

I'm on, and trailed Symbicort and Fostair (2xam, 2xpm and sometimes 1x dinner time) combi inhalers. I know the Formoterol side of the drug is a long acting bronchodilator but I was wondering if being on these, long term (or any term) has an affect on albuterol effectiveness?

Does anyone find that the albuterol feels less effective? As I've noticed I don't really benefit much from the albuterol as I once did. For the last few days I've lowered my dose of Symbicort to 1 puff am, 1 puff pm and took a puff of my albuterol about an hour ago and can feel the effects of it much better than I have been over the last few weeks.

Just curious

Thanks again

Sometimes my albuterol rescue inhaler doesn't seem powerful but it depends on how bad my shortness of breath is.
