Getting to grips and getting out with Bowel and bladder issues!
But following a
FODMAP
diet in early 2019 really helped my bloating and wind. Since then I try to be gluten free as it helps. I take loperamide morning and night and extra if I'm eating out. I never go anywhere without a change of clothes and I wear protective pads and pants all the time I'm out.

Zoe - Personalized Food Mapping App
The Liver Diet, The Atkins, The Low Carb high Fat, The
FODMAP
?? Do any of them work? This question has bugged me for the last 40 years so I bit the bullet and signed up to the Zoe App and testing regime and although I am still waiting for results, quite interesting what I have already learned.

What is everyone's experience after surgery been like? what next?
I have requested a dietitian referral to try
fodmap
diet myself from the new GP and they gave me that, but the dietitian is not experienced in endo so very limited support (better than none!).

My weight also seems to be going down due to low

Thoughts - fatigue, slow recovery from illness, IBS links?
I'm on a modified
FODMAP
diet, everything cooked from scratch and I take supplements, including vit D. As long as im not actually ill I exercise regularly and get plenty fresh air. I also get between 7 and 9 hours sleep each night and follow good sleep hygiene practices.

Anyone Taking Linaclotide?
Certainly better than the way things were before though, so I'm hopeful that this higher dose, along with my following the

diet (rather loosely at this point, as now I'm basically just avoiding what I've found to be my trigger foods and sticking to a rather limited diet of rice, fish, tempeh,

What's your experience with low fodmap diet and reintroduction?
As far as I'm aware low formap diet is only for 6-8 weeks. Did you notice any difference when you removed the trigger foods within that period and did you notice any difference when you started the reintroduction phrase, slowly reintroducing common trigger foods? Where you able to tolerate the foods

A Day In The Life
(and yep I have previously looked at the
fodmap
diet but it is really difficult relating to all the clashes mentioned) I have other issues so food is always a problem.

Diagnosis dead end and worsening cyclical pain
I was originally diagnosed with IBS and have tried medication, lifestyle changes, the low
FODMAP
diet, and am now vegan, but nothing has ever really helped and I still struggle with daily abdominal pain regardless of what or if I eat.

Bladder pain
I wondered how this would combine with low
fodmap
requirements but it doesn't seem to have affected my stomach or digestion. After a month it seems to have worked .....along with increasing my fluids ....I am not always good at getting enough water/ non caffeinated teas etc.

What comes after FODMAP diet?
Then I bought some lactase and I had already started doing the
FODMAP
thing. There is manitol in it. That's off
FODMAP
diet. Why would they put that in something for breaking down foods correctly, when actually it makes it worse?

Tested low oxalate diet - No effect on my RLS - Tired of hearing about dietary "cause" of RLS
If it was, everybody who tried low oxalate diet or gluten free or dairy free or
FODMAP
, or paleo, or keto, or whatever, would have eliminated his or her RLS. It’s misguiding to say so and it’s very frustrating to read this kind of statement when you tried every possible diet to no avail.

How long for glutening to clear?
I’m taking nexium (gp prescribed) and am looking at low
fodmap
foods. My partner cooks with a lot of chilli and I don’t think this is helping. I didn’t eat for days and have only started with plain rice and bananas and green tea.

IBS only with PMS
Low
Fodmap
has made a difference. However, as my IBS is intermittent, I'm always in the total elimination phase. Anyway, my question is, can anyone relate? Have you ever heard of anything similar?

Could someone please advise, feeling desperate? :(
I have tried the
FODMAP
diet twice and kept a food diary, but no food seems particularly to trigger symptoms. I eat plenty of fibre etc. I am so exhausted and can’t sleep properly with the discomfort. Can anyone please advise? :(
