gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzoPvybzb2wIVyJTVCh0mNQ9DEAAYASAAEgLznfD_BwE I've been on

Homeopathic diet following a test
:-( I am making sure the fruit and veg I have is on the low
fodmap
list!!! Had D about 9 times today. Anyone know what’s happening? Its hardly like reintroducing all the bad foods would help; surely??

I have a friend that has just been diagnosed with IBS and the Dr has suggested the
Fodmap
diet. I have been trying to find which foods she should avoid and which are good. As I have never used this method, I am not very up on it, and didn't find a website that was very helpful.

Massive abdominal distension
Sooo I’m 5 weeks into my
FODMAP
diet...hasn’t helped, and now I’ve got a new symptom (to add to the long list) I have massive abdominal distension- it has been a symptom I’ve suffered with for years but within the last couple of days my belly is huge-think 20 weeks pregnant huge.

While my food diary has not revealed any intolerances I think the next step is to ask my GP to see a dietitian and try Low
FODMAP
diet since it helps so many people on this forum.

FODMAP

Dyspnea and IBS?
I'm trying to resolve by myself, taking probiotics and eating
fodmap
... drinking vinegar mitigates the symptoms. I experience stomacaches, constant bloating, sometimes diahrrea and mainly an horrible dyspnea. what do you do and take to feel better?

Is this normal for IBS?
I paid to have a private allergy/intolerance/
FODMAP
test done and found out I had lots of FODMAPs and was intolerant to wheat, gluten, dairy, egg white, egg yolk, and cashew nuts. I cut these and the FODMAPs out of my diet and felt better for about 2 months.

Misery for the last ten years
I do not smoke, drink or do drugs and I'm also a vegan and I've also been following a
FODmap
diet too. I drink hot water opposed to drinking tea or coffee. I'm nearly 30 and I'm super angry at myself and feel if my life continues like this I don't think I can continue to live.

My blood test results
Since then I’ve been on the low
fodmap
diet so have eliminated gluten. I feel better but not 100% and still get symptoms etc. Anyhow, I was just looking at my test results online and notice that the levels are right on the very low side of normal, the Anti-tissue transglutnaae levels were 0.1 u/ml.

IBS & Interstitial Cystitis
I’ve spent so much money on prescriptions, everything you guys have suggested,
FODMAP
ingredients (food is not an issue for me), doctors that don’t take insurance, acupuncture, books and the list goes on. I’ve had all the tests and scans as well. Nothing helps!

FODMAP diet
I have just been told to start the
FODMAP
diet-strict elimination phase. Feeling very down about the restrictive diet. Would really appreciate some advice/safe recipes to try as I am so confused as to what I can and can’t eat (official
FODMAP
app is useless)

Making progress with sleep with RLS, without Ambien
What I’ve learned as I've tried to get off Ambien but couldn't sleep: *I went on a
FodMap
elimination diet to figure out my triggers- I chose 8 foods I could stick to from this diet (for me being veggie/vegan-ish: eggs, brown rice, cheese, broccoli, cheerios, almond milk, sweet potatoes, tofu) and I

I swear it's not IBS
Hey everyone, been to see a gastroenterologist, had colonoscopy, been to dietician(
FODMAP
), taken riflaxamin, tried probiotics and nobody knows what's wrong with me yet.... In fact my dietician doesn't think it's IBS. Wondering if anyone here has any similar experiences....

Wild Garlic whilst on FodMap?
Hi folks Nearly 4 weeks into the
FODMAP
diet and our garden has fab crop of wild garlic. Given on
FODMAP
you can eat the green bits of Spring Onions and Leek I'm wondering if the same applies to Wild Garlic? Any thoughts? Anyone tried?

FODMAP DIET - not huge benefit so far
I've been on the diet for 4 weeks now and had little benefit from it. I've struggled with it as I'm a strict vegetarian and the dietician's advise was 'read this leaflet ad eat a balanced diet'! That was it so reliant on books and the website (though some of that has been contradictory). I tried
