Endocrinologist with understanding of adrenal dysfunction and t3 usage in the UK? Is there such a person?!
Aldosterone blood test revealed below mid range, and after several wasted appointments with my GP to discuss prescribing florinef (
fludrocortisone
) for my just below mid range aldosterone, she has decided it’s too complicated for her and has officially dropped me ‘like a hot brick’.. her words!

Drugs firm to pay NHS £8m after competition probe
The prescription-only
fludrocortisone
is mainly used to treat Addison's Disease, a rare deficiency of the adrenal glands. This is the first time a CMA investigation will secure a payment such as this for the NHS.

Just to say they have no removed me from hydrocortisone/
fludrocortisone
and asked me to go back onto the 5mg prednisolone for the time being. Also I have had a diagnosis of fibromyalgia in the past two weeks and they have put me onto amytriptylene.

Fludrocortisone shortage
I would recommend ordering more
fludrocortisone
immediately to make sure you have an adequate supply. I only have a week's worth left.

- Blood count (that would include hemoglobin to supplement iron panel) - Aldosterone (was very low in the range before and have been taking
fludrocortisone
- now should be better) Are there any other suggestions?

Pharmacotherapy of autonomic failure - after meals - postprandial
If symptoms are not controlled with these conservative measures the next step is to start pharmacological agents; these interventions should be aimed at increasing intravascular volume either by promoting water and salt retention (
fludrocortisone
) or by increasing red blood cell mass when anemia is present

fludrocortisone
. Does this excessive sleepiness happen to others with Parkinson’s? Can anyone offer any ideas that they found helped it? Would really appreciate any advice.

Florinef - cortisol suppression?
It seems incredibly hard to do this – and taking in salt seems to be contraindicated for this – whereas you need to drink it for the
fludrocortisone
. Any other ideas apart from the pregnenolone?

Fludrocortisone for postural blood pressure drop in Parkinson's
They want to start her on
fludrocortisone
to prevent postural blood pressure drop. She has no symptoms such as dizziness etc, but since they have measured a few instances of postural blood pressure drop, they are recommending this to prevent further falls.

Circadian rhythm misalignment in people with adrenal insufficiency
I have to force myself to get out of bed, go downstairs, and take my hydrocortisone and
fludrocortisone
. It might take 45 minutes or so for me to actually feel awake. Do others with AI experience this, as well? I've been in contact with Dr.

Fludrocortisone update for low BP.
Higher dosage of
fludrocortisone
has failed to consistently keep blood pressure readings within normal limits. The drops in BP have become more frequent with outcomes that are ugly.

Information on Fludrocortisone
I give you a report back on my experience with
fludrocortisone
. I suffer from low blood pressure that is thought to be possibly neurogenic in origin. I was treated with the above drug for symptomatic relief only.
