Diagnosed with vasa vagal syncope
These episodes where happening every 2-3 weeks but now she has started
fludrocortisone
100microgram once daily and this has reduced the episodes a lot but she is still a collapse every 6 months or so. I don't know what to do because they are still happening.

Collapsing again
Fludrocortisone
helped me to get on top of things and I gradually transitioned into lifestyle management with the odd, infrequent collapse. There then followed 12-18 months of calm but I had a couple of collapses over a weekend in February and I've now had 3 in the space of 3 weeks.

Neurocardiogenic Syncope - would be good to talk to others who suffer with NCS. Anyone here?
Anyone else using
fludrocortisone
or have a bad reaction to midodrine?

I'm a NCS sufferer. Is there anywhere I can get a medic alert bracelet or band specific for the condition or for my meds - fludrocortisone?

advice on thyroid results please, and ferritin levels
On top of all this I have ME, and very weak adrenals, but these are being supported with hydrocortisone 15-20mg/day,
fludrocortisone
and Dr Wilson's adrenal rebuilder supplements.

Monitoring potassium levels
Patients taking
fludrocortisone
for syncope or PoTS are prone to losing potassium. Levels should be monitored by blood tests. If levels tend to be low, eat foods containing potassium, such as bananas, dates, beans.

Help with Presyncope
My GP prescribed
Fludrocortisone
which I can't take due to the bad side effects. I eat a good balanced diet and drink caffeinated drinks (GP's advice) as i was drinking only decaf. The episodes come on without any warning - I find that they cause depression and fatigue.
