Don't know how it happened, but I have Covid.
I have definitely been sicker in the past with the
flu
, but it appears the symptoms may linger for a while. Part of me is relieved to finally have faced the monster and be coming through on the other side, but do I now have enough immunity to actually return to some level of living?

Praise for an overwhelmed NHS
Winter
flu
season is only just starting. I honestly don’t know how the nurses and doctors who work well beyond their shift do it.

But I do mask up in the car and I’ve avoided them after their anti-
flu
nasal treatments. The eight year old is given to unexpected ‘guerrilla hugs’ so I have to be a bit aware at all times and ready for ambushes.

More guidance needed please
At the end of October I asked all you helpful people for advice about a flare after having Covid and
flu
boosters. I had been on 2.5 mg of prednisolone for a while but was having quite a lot of pain in my shoulders.

Misery
Yesterday I had a covid shot and a
flu
shot. Both in my left shoulder. Couldn't sleep due to the pain in my shoulder. All day shaky and cold with a bodyache, headache and neckache. Tried tylenol and when that didn't help I tried ibuprofen.

Vaccines prior to Blood work
Do you think that my husband's blood work will be affected by the Covid booster and
flu
shot received four weeks prior to blood draw? I am concerned enough about lab results without them being negatively affected. He has CKD stage 3B. Thank you for your input.

Unexplained pain
This time he tested positive for
flu
. The doctor suggested Gaviscon if he gets the pain again. Does anyone have experience of anything similar?

5th jab or not?
Have now been summoned for 5th +
flu
jabs- to be taken together. Plan to take the
flu
one once I'm feeling better but really not sure about a 5th COVID. I still got the bug after 4 jabs, together with a careful lifestyle, and anyway, won't I now have some natural immunity?

Ive been invited to book my covid booster and
flu

flu
last week one off pneumonia in a couple of weeks at my annual review at gp. I shave my head due to baldness but I'm worried 'cos when I get up in the morning and look in the mirror, not a pretty sight by the way,I can see what looks like spike protein sprouting.

Enc news
Plus I've been dealing with a succession of UTIs and other bacterial probs - Covid (I'm not vaxxed and it was a bit like
flu
), pneumonia and general fatigue lethargy. I hate it when people say 'we're on a journey' or 'your not suffering - 'just experiencing' ..... they please me not.

Bad Reaction to Moderna Jab
Was in bed all next day with
Flu
like symptoms, but to my horror have got up today with full blown PMR symptoms. I had PMR for seven years and you all know what that is like with the horrible rollercoaster of pain and Steroid reductions.

At last!
A horrible
flu
-ey bug and then a rotten cough, then a run, then a spontaneous trip away where I forgot to bring the suitcase with my running gear, then finally home to wake up yesterday to below zero temperatures and thick fog. So this morning I wasn't allowing any excuses.

heart and vaccinations
A cardiologist told me not to have the covid booster and
flu
jab that I'm eligible for now. My GP sees no reason why I should not jave the jabs (being risk averse he said he's not an expert). Can anyone help on where can I get accurate/best advice on this?

Advice Please
Flu
jab two weeks ago resulted in a flare so upped from 2mg to 5 mg. Back now to 3 mg. I dont wake up in the morning with any pain but have various twinges through the day. Only last a short time. Still fatigued though. Im loath to up my pred but am wary of a build up to a major flare.

endo and failing immune system
My second question is - lately I’ve been getting poorly with everything - covid 3 times in a short space, chest infections,
flu
, tonsillitis etc. it feels like my body just isn’t fighting things off and it’s a real struggle on top of the other symptoms (I’m currently on ten laxatives a day plus pain

?Interval between Covid Booster & Biologic infusion
She had her
flu
vacc last Friday 4th November. She hasn't got a date yet for the infusion which I suspect hopefully maybe in a few weeks time. Hoping that it doesn't clash with her arranged cataract surgery and vitreous haemorrhage washout on 1st December.!
