Withdrawal vs Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency
After 4 days of relaxing, I hit a wall of pain everywhere, like a bad
flu
, and ended up in tears after a short walk. I was going to ask for advice here, but simply couldn’t put the words together or wait for replies. I took an extra 5 mg.

I finally ate the ...ah😭 it's my favourite chicken steak mom bought for me😭i finally ate and got my
flu
meds and mental health meds and something for my headache. I even installed AI apps to ask for help but they just throw meditations at me. I need someone to comfort me and take care of me.

switching to a carnivore diet has put my PMR into total remission
This has been termed "the keto
flu
". After that, the malaise disappeared, even if the diet (only animal products, with a preference for beef and other ruminants) was not to my liking (I have always eaten a very vegetable rich diet and enjoy all kinds of food).

Stress - I ignored the obvious ...
I thought I might have the edge of
flu
, or something. Nothing could touch the (now severe) pain, head, arms, wrists, fatigue - paracetamol, Ibuprofen, sumatriptan, codeine etc were all useless. I didn't want to mention it to my wife for obvious reasons.

Tingly lower legs! Why? I’m on 4.5mg Prednisolone and feel ready to taper again but I’m concerned about the leg discomfort.
Tapered easily to 3.5mg by December then early Jan I got the
flu
and had my first flare. I went up by 1mg and am still on 4.5mg now, but I’m well and feel ready to taper by .5mg. I have tingly lower legs and wondered if this is related to PMR/Pred?

Inflammation after ICU stay and other after effects?
I can't find much information on this online, and my GP has not been able to answer my questions either.I was 10 days in ICU on a ventilator in December 2022 (strep a,
flu
and pneumonia). So I am 4 and a half months post ICU now.

Flu and Heart disease- urgent advice needed
My mother, 92 , is in hospital with this new
Flu
varient and not expected to survive. I want to visit her today to say goodbye but I am reading that the
Flu
is potentially dangerous for heart patients. I have a mix of LAD blockage and microvascular blockage and am on a cocktail of drugs.

SoB 1 month out from EP Ablation
I first went into AF in Nov 2020 with cough from the
flu
. At that episode, it went away by itself after cough was cured. My FamDr sent me to Heart Dr and he did an exploratory look at my heart through my wrist vein. Nothing was wrong with my heart at that time.

TSH lowered fast
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I had been coughing/
flu
for 2 months. my tsh was 27. After 1 month on levo 25mcg the tsh was now 3. I would like to know if the tsh dropped so fast because of the levo or because my
flu
went away.

Flu Vaccine Study - call for participants
People living with conditions linked to chronic liver disease have higher rates of serious illness from
flu
. However, this group also tends to have lower rates of
flu
vaccine uptake.

the 2 mg misery( again)
Dizziness,
Flu
-like malaise ( no fever) pressure in my head , burning eyes, 2 bouts of profuse sweating, then diarrhea. then the tell-tale pain and discomfort in my shoulder girdle which made me realize all of it may be secondary to a flare.
