RT, keep thy bladder full.
Not sure asking for
Flomax
is correct, as I said I have no prostate nor flow issues.

Still on
flomax
. Every time I get CT o r MRi it creates artifacts and interferes with the test. I would not recommend it to anyone. I was first with radiation treatments to receive from my local doctor. Even had to add extra wire

TURP Prior to Radiation: Opinions?
After chemo, I have significantly less retention in my bladder but I'm still taking .8 mg of
Flomax
nd my prostate is still moderately enlarged. All things considered, my problems with urination were pretty significantly reduced after chemo/Lupron/Nubeqa.

urinary restriction
Flomax
is incompatible with anti- depress and sleep meds, I have to take to alleviate ADT side effects, and takes a month to work. Appreciate words of medical wisdom, other than "go with the flow" :)

Has anyone chosen SBRT despite preexisting urethritis?
I am aware that alpha blocker,
Flomax
, can alleviate the symptoms.

Infection or Cancer?
Start antibiotics and
flomax
. 4/23 - symptoms improve but still blood - gross sometimes but always show up on urine test strips and frequent weak urination still there. I go to shot nurse and get a PSA test and level is 18.2. Freak out. Never should have got a test not ordered by doctor!

Urinary Retention after Radiation
- Jun 2022 - UroFlow test - Prescribed
Flomax
instead of Oxybutynin, but after a month of trying this, the pain from bladder spasms was worse, so switched back to Oxybutynin.

Prostate Humor (because sometimes you just need a laugh
Why do urologists push
Flomax
more than laxatives? Because they’re all about number one. 9. How are my erections like a plate of spaghetti? They both were once hard and long, and now they’re both limp and bendy. 10. What does my urologist see when I bend over? Tiny little peenuts.

SBRT process just starting
I am taking Finasteride (propecia) to try to shrink my prostate, Tamsulosin (
flomax
) to urinate better and I will begin taking Tadalafil (cialis) once the radiation starts to assist the bloodflow. I plan to post updates from my procedure and certainly post any questions I have.

Tamsulosin (Flomax) causing/increasing AF?
I’ve been taking Tamsulosin for almost 5 yrs ago. AF starts just this February. Just read it’s side effects more closely, and noticed one NIH paper and another source, mentioned causing AF as a rare side effect. Have stopped it, and will look for an alternative if need be. Anyone else noticed any correlation

Flomax and Me
How do you know when you can go off of
flomax
? Long term side effects? I'm 3 months out from my radiation therapy at Kaiser. My
flomax
script was over at 6 weeks post radiation! Then, my urination was very painful, demanding and frequent.
