had radiation in 1989. In the 2010s I had a urolift installed and regret every since. Worked maybe foe a month. Still on flomax. Every time I get CT o r MRi it creates artifacts and interferes with the test. I would not recommend it to anyone. I was first with radiation treatments to receive from my local doctor. Even had to add extra wire

I have a friend who had one. He said it was extremely messy and painful. 1 1/2 years later it is starting to fail. His words, never again.
Thanks for the Unlifting urolift post.....

I agree. Worked for about a month, and then the stream started to significantly reduce.
There was another product from the past that failed and that no one uses anymore. It was a urinary stent. I think similar to the heart stents, kind of a mesh affair that is placed in the channel and expands.
What happened was the human tissue grew through the mesh openings and narrowed the channel again. Also, due to the tissue growing into the mesh, it was very difficult to remove when it caused problems.
How is urolift going to be different? The tissue will just grow around these little clips.
If i can make this analysis, im sure the medical engineers at urolift already thought of it too.
