Flecainide
I have PAF which is becoming more frequent so am on waiting list for ablation. Have been prescribed flexainide but gp waiting for me to request commencement. I am hesitant as it seems like a “heavy duty” drug. I have the choice of taking it daily or as a pip. What are people’s e experiences and advice

He explained that I was experiencing Atrial Flutter and the PIP
Flecainide
that I had started wouldn’t help. After discussing the options he recommended having a cardioversion which was performed on Monday and now I‘m back in NSR.

flutter not fibrillation
He has recommended an ablation to sort it out and told me to stop taking
Flecainide
which makes me nervous. He says it probably isn’t doing much and could make things worse. Anyone else had this advice?

Flecainide and Diltiazem
Hello fellow AFIBers, I have recently prescribed
Flecainide
as a replacement anti arrhythmic for Mulaq for afib along with Diltiazem as second blood pressure medications. I am interested to know if any other afiber is taking such combination and his or her side effects. thank you all

Does metoprolol succinate cause nocturia
I am on
Flecainide
25 mg in am and pm, and metoprolol succinate 25 mg in the am, and 2.5 mg eliquis in am & pm. Although bph can cause nocturia, has metoprolol succinate and eliquis also been known to cause it?

flecainide
and bisoprolol ? I haven’t taken it since being on tablets but wanted to as a painkiller . Interested if anyone in community has tried it?

Metoprol
Do you think that the use of Metoprol (or any beta blocker) alone, without an anti-arrythmic, such as
Flecainide
, can keep Afib from breaking out?

Why might Flecainide quit working?
Some say that
Flecainide
, after a time, quits working. If that is so, WHY might it be so? Could there be anything done to prevent its not working?

worried in France
I take Bisoprolol 1.25 mg twice daily and have
Flecainide
as PIP. I would be grateful for your thoughts as to whether this may revert back to sinus rhythm on its own. Though I have a feeling you will say, go and get this checked out! Many thanks in anticipation.

Torn between needing low bp for heart/afib but higher diastolic bp for glaucoma
However, I have had very low bp and heart rate on and off since march and was so low at times I took the decision to stop some meds such as
flecainide
, losartan for high bp and cut back on verapamil.

Another hospital admission
I now have issues with an irregular heart rhythm, they don't know if it is caused by SVT, for which I take
Flecainide
for, or if it caused by Microvascular disease causing problems with the electrical conduction. I'm going to be referred back to the Electrophysiologist. The diagnosis is still MVA.
