Hi all, I'm new here and looking for some advice. I was diagnosed hypothyroid in 2007. Over the years my TSH has been up and down as as my levothyroxine dose in response to TSH and symptoms. Always suspected I have Hashimotos, as I have all the symptoms, but was never tested (or at least was never given

Various symptoms.....Hypothyroidism?
Recent blood test results revealed low ferritin levels (8 ug) for which I have been taking
ferrous
sulphate
for a few weeks. With regards to my Thyroid results, GP said this was 'normal' but the levels read: Serum TSH 1.15 ml (normal range 0.34 - 5.6) and T4 level 9.30 pmol (7.5 - 21.1).

Pelvis injury ... Gone!
In the words of my physio, I put my pelvis "out" 2 weeks ago by attempting to lift a heavy pot in the garden (at the exact second I realised I couldn't lift this pot I felt something go "pop". Ouch). Anyhoo, strapped up, kept working, went to Pilates - but no running ... Until last night! Went for a

New here... can I ask for some guidance, please?
My GP has prescribed 400mg
ferrous
sulphate
a day (for 3 months) but said my b12 isn't low enough to treat. He said the iron deficiency could be causing all the symptoms. My father has Pernicious Anaemia and has 3-monthly b12 injections.

Consultation after blood test
I recently had a blood test and as my ferritin levels were low and still dropping, I asked one of the GP's through the receptionist (couldn't get an appointment for 2 weeks to ask him) if I should start taking Ferrous Fumarate which I had some of from last year when I was prescribed them from the surgery
