Quick Onset of Side Effects of Casodex and Lupron
In 2016, I had three months of Firmagon followed by six months of Lupron as part of cyberknife treatment of my prostate cancer recurrence. Within four or five days of first Firmagon shot I started having hot flushes. My PSA dropped from 1.8 to 0.2 after the second Firmagon shot. By the time I had the

Start of New Phase in My Prostate Cancer Journey
In 2011, when I was diagnosed with low volume Gleason 3 + 3 prostate cancer and treated with brachytherapy, I did not think that I would be fighting the cancer again and again. First time in 2016 with local recurrence in an extra- capsular mass that was treated with ADT and cyberknife. This year the

Kisqali, Faslodex and Zometa
I'm on my 10th cycle of kisqali and
faslodex
along with monthly zometa. My tumor markers are now down to 20. My PET CT Scan no progression and my onc say I'm stable. I've asked will my TM get to zero and answer was no. So what is NED - no evidence of disease?

Xtandi - Please help
Hi everyone, My father's PSA keeps rising. It is now 460. It was 300 three weeks ago. He had Casodex, Lucrin, Zytiga, prostatetomy, radiation therapy, orchietomy, chemo (Taxotere, Taxotere+carboplatin, Jevtana). All failed. We saw a doctor (in the US) who prescribed Xtandi. My father does not live in

Starting Treatment for Metastatic Prostate Cancer
My prostate cancer diagnosed Gleason 3 + 3 in 2011 and treated with brachytherapy in 2011 is now a metastatic disease with many lymph nodes involved. Today I took the first Casodex pill in preparation for the first Lupron shot in two weeks time. Previously, I was treated with ADT and cyberknife in 2016

. I had noticed recently that I was having trouble finding a word I wanted to say. Like making a phone call and then a word I needed, like “refill a prescription “, would not come into my mind.

CA 27 29 fluctuating
Started
Faslodex
and Ibrance in July. ANC dropped to 0.3. Had to take 3 weeks off to recover. Last months CA 27 29 dropped to 113. Started the 100 mg Ibrance about 3 weeks ago, but last weeks CA 27 29 was up to 123. Are fluctuations to be expected or was it due to 3 weeks off?
