Hysteroscopy advice
I met with my consultant yesterday following my 5th ivf round and failed fet this month (3 previous miscarriages). He said that I could go for a hysteroscopy to see if I have any scarring or infections though he thinks generally my uterus seems ok, there has been no visible issues from ordinary scans

Elective c section
Hello, I am over 40 years old with my first IVF pregnancy and I am looking into elective c section options. Do you know at what week it is usually scheduled? The midwife only said before 40 weeks but did not go into the specifics… probably as I’m still in the first trimester. Thank you 🙏🏻

Should I delay ICSI cycle due to illness?
Looking for some advice and experiences as to how illness might affect IVF. We are about to start a second cycle which will be ICSI this time. We went away for a week and were both a bit ill with a cold/sore throat and then my partner also got food poisoning (vomiting and diarrheoa for 2 days last week

Feeling useless
I am currently at TWW of the round 2 IVF, we have 1 more frozen one and it is very low quality embryo. Earlier we started searching for anonymous egg banks already, but we were still not very serious and we were still hoping that this second round will work out. Though, 1 week after the transfer of

Has anyone here been told to move to donor / adopt and proceeded with own eggs and been successful?
Has anyone here been told to move to donor and proceeded with own eggs and been successful? Nhs Consultant said that we need to look at donor eggs or adopt. He will not give us another round based on the response of the last round. Amh 1.8 and fsh 11 Two failed rounds. I don’t think I can get my head

First time poster overwhelmed with symptoms and considering self-medicating with bovine adrenals & NDT. Asking for advice & recommendations
TLDR: First time poster diagnosed Hashimotos and POI, investigating IBS which is potentially also autoimmune cause. Fatigue, depression and anxiety are ruining my life. Low Adrenal Index Test results so considering self-medicating with Bovine Adrenals. High TSH and anti thyroid antibodies, but low-end-of-normal

Subclinical hypothyroidism and IVF
Hi, We’ve had 1 round of IVF/ICSI which we were referred for due to my partner’s low sperm count. Our first embryo transfer was unsuccessful but we have another one frozen. The clinic asked me to get my Vit D and thyroid levels tested by the GP before FET. I asked the GP for a print out of the results

Embryo 4BA
So after a very long IVF journey (5 rounds, 4 transfers, 2 MC, 1BFN and our wonderful daughter), we decided to go down the Donor Egg route for one last shot at a 2nd child. I thought this journey would be easier. Eggs from a young, healthy woman, my husband sperm is good, but it is just as stressful

thyroid issues and ivf
Hi I’ve recently had 2 unsuccessful fet’s, one was a BFN and the other stopped growing at around 5 weeks. I’ve had some bloods done recently and it appears that there’s some issues with my thyroid. (Undectable tsh and below range low t4). I know the big impact being hypothyroid can have on fertility

Feel like giving up
Urgh, not having the best day after a stupid fall out with the other half, I'm nearing the end of my first IVF cycle (1 transfer left) and I'm considering just throwing in the towel, I've been up and down about the toll it's taken on my life generally since last year (2 early miscarriages so far) and

Dealing with IVF is sin and have you thought about adoption comments
Are there Catholics who are pissed of with IVF is sin conversations and 'have you ever thought about adoption' questions? Those who have already 6 kids and 15 grandchildren find it easy to judge and never understand what it means not having a biological child of your own. Neither understanding that

treatment for thin lining?
Hello, I’ve got PCOS but ovulate and have an average cycle of 32 days. I’ve been told I have a thin lining 4-5mm. I saw a private dr who gave me cyclogest post ovulation and I’ve used it for two cycles, which have both resulted in a negative test. Does anyone know what the treatment is for a thin lining

UK ivf clinics over 40
Does anyone have any recommendations for ivf clinics in the UK for over 40's? I just finished two ecs and three transfers at ivf Spain, one of which resulted in my son but the costs of going again including all the travel and accommodation are huge. Looking for somewhere closer to home. Any advice,

Negative test 9DT 5D FET
Hi everyone, Looking for some positivity 🙏 I had a 5D - FET on 7.3.24. I tested on day 7 (Clear Blue) which was negative. I since tested again today (9DPT) with a cheap test and the fourth urine of the day (stupid I know!) Is there any hope for official test day in 20.3.24 🤞 This is our last try

DHEA supplements and higher doses of Folic Acid?
Hello there! Has anyone been advised to take DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone)? And if so, any side effects? My consultant has suggested it as there are some studies that suggest it could increase conception rates during IVF treatment by increasing ovarian response to stimulation. They have also advised
