Confused about Symptoms
Hi everyone! Hope you’re all good? I’ve been a bit confused over the last week or so, just wondering if someone could possibly settle my mind? I’ve been taking Desogestrel for a good few years now (maybe like 4/5) - I’ve never had any trouble with it, get the occasional surprise bleed every few

Private Surgery worth it?
Hi everyone,I have recently had a follow up with my gynae who has told me that my Ultrasound did not show endo but has shown a mass which they think is either a ruptured cyst or hydrosalpinx in my right fallopian tube. I have consented to have the fallopian tube removed during surgery if it needs to

Mirena coil and double desogestrel. Is it too much?
hi, first time posting. Short version - I currently have the coil in and my dr has just told me to double my desogestrel. Firstly, I’m worried about the safety of this? Secondly I really don’t feel I’m coping with the hormone overload. Has anybody else had this treatment before? Is it sustainable? Will

Pain over 12 weeks after op
Hi all I had my laparoscopy at the end of January and have been healing fine, with no (surgery related) pain. But the past few days I’ve had twinges around where my incisions were (ovaries area) and today it’s been really sore, especially when bending, walking, and going down steps. Has anyone else

Progesterone pill for Endometriosis
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis via process of elimination and an MRI scan. I have always had awfully painful, heavy periods but in January, the pain became consistently excruciating, even when I wasn’t on my period. Long story short, I was put on the progesterone only pill

Does endo cause daily pain even when on desogestrel
I'm struggling with daily pelvic pain since my dignotic lap where endo was found but not removed. I've been on desogestrel pill since November and have no periods but yet have this daily pelvic pain. More specifically does anyone else get more pain in the lower right side of pelvis? Sometimes I have

Provera for 1 week only
Hi Everyone, I started heavily bleeding on Desogestrel after 4 months so I asked to try Provera. The Dr would only give me a weeks worth, enough to try and stop the bleeding for my smear test next week. I thought you could take it for longer than that at a lower dose as an alternative to the mini

Double desogestrel pill
Has anyone else been told to take two pills a day? My gynaecologist told me to try it over a month ago to try and reduce bleeding and pain. My pain has reduced but the bleeding hasn't. Has anyone else had this experience?

Advice on medication
Hi Everyone, I've been offered medication as an alternative to the mini pill as I've tried Noriday which caused floods, and Desogestrel makes me bleed constantly. Norethisterone and Provera have been mentioned but I don't know which one to go on. I'm a bit weary of Norethisterone as Noriday made me

Desogestrel & symptoms
Hi everyone, I was wondering what were people's experiences with desogestrel? I am not diagnosed yet as my MRI came back as 'normal' which is very frustrating as I am stuck now. I started desogestrel around a month and a half ago and have been bleeding most of the time, the pain is less frequent but

Worried about new symptoms,, can anyone say if they've had similar experience???
I had a lap in early March and had endo confirmed and removed at the time of surgery. But over the past month I've noticed constant bloating which is very abnormal for me as well as feeling very tired and needing to pee urgently. I also get sharper pains on my left side of the pelvis. However I'm
