Hello I have been reading some old posts about this medication and ckd. Is it really dangerous to take. My gfr is 21 and I need to keep it stable. I suffer with insomnia and it helps me sleep at 100mg per dose. I also take quietepine 50mg and diazepam 8mg per dose Added into that mix is mirtazepine

Trialling Buprenorphine and Dipyramidole - experience
Hello everyone! I’ve been around for a little while but I’ve been waiting for something definite to report. At age 56, the RLS was getting very disruptive so I had to find an alternative to my usual sleep medication. It took me a few years. In the end I returned to my old GP, who listened and thought

10mg Amitriptyline
Since I was refused zopiclone and prescribed 10mg Amitriptyline I have been sleeping like a baby. I am so so so glad that I didn’t take zopiclone as it is very addictive and does affect one’s health. Amitriptyline is, I am told, non addictive and has no side effects. It works for me.

RLS seems to be mainly in my arms now
For the last few months my fore arms have been getting sore and involuntary jerking. I still get the jerking of my legs and midriff but that is less so. The symptoms are appearing 24/7 and only by being continually active do I get any respite. However the lack of sleep is a real drain on me. I was on

New medication - 10mg Amitriptyline
Bad news. For one week I was taking 3.75mg Zopiclone and I had wonder sleep each night. When I didn’t take one it was hell at night and the next day. My doctor will now not prescribe me this medication anymore. Instead I have to take 10mg Amitriptyline from tonight and I am very concerned and angry

Insomnia
After covid I developed insomnia. I started taking 3.75mg zopiclone and it works wonders. I have about 6 hour sleep and I feel great whole day. However, I tried not to reduce dependence by taking one on alternate days. Hell. It doesn’t work. I have zero hours of sleep. The worst part is that I can not

Daughter post partum thyroiditis
I’ve always found great advice and help here and need it again. My daughter (she has 6 month old baby) recent history struggling with night sweats, severe insomnia was eventually after 4th telephone appointment given a blood test and her T4 off the scale - now diagnosed as post partum thyroiditis. Referred

Sleep difficulties
Hi, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1983 and secondary fibromyalgia about 15 years later. I was taking Amitriptyline - 30mgs - 100 mgs. However GP insisted that I reduce dosage to 30mgs, which I did. However since then I have had problems getting off to sleep. I tried zopiclone as advised

Sadly no cure😢
Hi guys. This is my first post here. I started with tinnitus back in February 2006. You never forget the date do you ? I have read so many desperate pleas for help but sadly I don’t think there is any. I have tried everything you can think of like hypnotherapy, acupuncture, cranial massage, white noise

Depressed and taking bisoprolol which hasn't stopped the Afib
Can Bisoprolol make you depressed? I have been taking this for about 4 weeks now. It really worked for the first 2 weeks. Now the atrial fibrillation is back with a vengeance and the pills don't do anything. I got Zopiclone last week which means I can sleep through it for a few hours. It's fine in the
