Using Testosterone to Treat Prostate Cancer
I found this report and I thought it will be a good idea to share it with all of my friends here: [[While it would have been unthinkable to give T to men with PCa not too many years ago, this is part of the cutting edge research currently in progress. Hi ladies Hope you’re well. I’ve been taking buserelin since Sunday last week and I feel like I’m going to come on my period tomorrow (they said 10-14 days after I start so I’m a bit early). The clinic said to call on the 1st day of period (but they are closed tomorrow) as they will tell me when to

Info on clinical trial with "Oral Faslodex/Fulvestrant"?
Hi everyone, After 3.5 years of positive response on Ibrance/Letrozole, my wife has seen some progression--so yesterday, she began a new clinical trial (ACT16105) which is a Phase II trial of SAR439859, a Sanofi compound. From my (limited!) understanding, this is an attempt to develop an oral Selective

Supplements to alleviate Endo symptoms
I have suffered with endo all my life but as I approach the menopause it has steadily got worse. It has affected me quite badly but I decided to take back some control and find out how I can manage it better. Looking into acupuncture, diet and increasing exercise. Also been looking into supplements

Has anyone stopped the pill completely for less side effects but not TTC?
Hi all, I had a laparoscopy end of 2016 which removed 'superficial endo' although was definitely in need of the surgery due to the pain. I have tried what feels like every pill on the planet and not got on with any. I now cannot take any oestrogen pills e.g. combined due to getting bad migraines which

Genistein for PCa hormonal control.
https://www.nature.com/articles/4501000 “Physiological concentrations of the soy-derived isoflavone genistein were shown to downregulate the androgen receptor of PCa cells via the estrogen receptor β, resulting in a modified response to hormonal stimuli. They also inhibit several steroid-metabolizing

Fibricheck App
I was wondering if anyone uses the Fibricheck app on their phone? Think it costs about £40 for the year. I think it helps me calm down when I get a palpitation as I am newly diagnosed and haven’t a clue what this is all about. I am taking Letroxole ( 10 year estrogen suppressor to stop Breast Cancer

Been to hormone specialist...not sure what to think?!
I am new here, but not new to thyroid problems. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2001 after years of symptoms no doctor could explain: high blood pressure difficult to control even with medication, hair loss, high cholesterol, weight gain and fluid retention. Doctors suggested I was eating too much

When does cycle return after miscarriage and surgical management? Whats day 1 of cycle?
I was somewhere between 5 and 7 weeks when the embryo started to fail. I stopped the progesterone and Estrogen last Thursday and had surgical management on Monday (though I started bleeding on Saturday and may have passed the sac then). I’m not sure what happens now. All the pregnancy tissue is gone

Help and advice regarding management of surgical menopause at 27 years old?
Hiya, I'm 27 years old, just been diagnosed with early stage uterine cancer and as it's estrogen positive, I will be unable to commence hormone replacement therapy after my hysterectomy (inc. uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and removal of both ovaries). Any advice and help on how to mentally prepare

What do you think of these supraphysiologic testosterone theories?
One road is: SPT (supraphysiologic testosterone) AI (aromatase inhibitor - blunts testosterone to estrogen conversion) 5-ARI (5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Blunts testosterone to DHT conversion) Progesterone https://palpable-prostate.blogspot.com/2008/02/testosterone-metabolism-and-prostate.html?fbclid

HRT ASTHMA AND COPD - Can anyone advise?
Hi everyone, I begun taking a very low dose of estrogen which I took daily for 2 weeks and then continued on a dose of two times a week - well I haven't quite got that far! It has made me extremely breathless and wheezy. I have no obvious signs of a chest infection, but am not going to take it again
