ecigs. i have been reading the posts on here and listening to the media coverage on this over the last couple of days with much dissmay
i was a smoker for over 40 years untill i picked up an ecig and havt gone back to ciggies since. we are all on this site to give up smoking. this product does exactly that! so why are people, the media and most importantly the nhs so negative about it. what we should be doing is lobbeying the goverment

My Quit September 2013
My Quit September 2013 My name is Ian. I have been smoking since I was around 17 years old. I’m now 39 which makes it around 22 years I’ve smoked. I have smoked many things in those 22 years, but it was mainly tobacco, around 20-30 roll-ups per day. I’ve had always enjoyed smoking. I actually liked

Insulin & Weightloss
Insulin & Weightloss – the pivotal factor Insulin is one of several hormones that are produced by the pancreas. Although insulin is often thought of as simply controlling blood sugar levels, it actually has far reaching effects on many other hormones and metabolic processes throughout your body.

Hello, I wanted to update about my situation as I had this strangling inside my throat a week ago.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2010 (in Germany) and got L-Thyroxin 75mg and something was visible in my thyroid. My weight is much much higher now and when I had a blood test in March my GP here in England told me I wouldn't have any problems with my thyroid! So I stopped taking my pills and

I'm hoping someone will be able to help with all my results.
I went to the doctors to find out why I wasn't having regular periods for the past year (44years old). She diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and perscribed 25mcg levo because of my high antibodies. I stayed on this dosage for 6 weeks with lots of aches & pains. After reading lots of good information on

Dear all, just joined this network. Hope you can help. Got my Anti-Mullerian Hormone test results - 4.9 pmol/l. What does it mean?
I also got my LH level test (3.8 U/L), FSH test (10 U/L) and oestradiol level test (255 pmol/L) results. Not quite sure how to interpret them. My GP said that all is normal but would not refer me for treatment as am 41. I believe that my AMH test results are not good. Hope somebody can help.

Blood tests just back?
All blood tests taken over a 3 month period while I was in/out/ appointments in hosptial . Bloods all drawn at the hosptial not at my GP's. All results came in last Friday with much amusement to my GP as she got an 'abnormal' warning notice from blood lab and to repeat all bloods because of it.?

My daughter is 11 years old, has no symptoms but as we live in Spain they do a routine blood test at the 11 year checkup.
Showed that she is underactive. After 2 further blood tests at the hospital Endocrine unit they did an MRI scan on her brain, all seemed ok with that, then they said she needed another blood test, took one lot of blood, injected some fluid into her, waited half and hour, took more blood, then again

Any males with raised prolactin treated it on its own?
Hi All, Undiagnosed 28 year old male here, not on any thyroid meds. I'm in process of getting more tests ( adrenal, rt3) to my current thyroid labs, but I had my prolactin come back very high. High prolactin can cause all sorts of sexual symptoms, anyone lowered that directly? I have some prolactin
