Years ago when I lived in Devon I had access to a vast array of complimentary therapies. I used crystal healing, massage, reflexology, acupuncture and aromatherapy. Now with limited funds I want to return to aromatherapy but could any of you delightful people out there let me know what essential oils

Essential oils during pregnancy?
Hi all after miscarrying twins last May I'm finally pregnant again :-))) Not far along, just 4 +2. I have trouble sleeping anyway and usually use essential oils designed to help relax and sleep. But I'm worried about using them now I'm pregnant. Does anyone know which are safe and which aren't? x

My Story So Far
I was recently asked what my behcets story was.... and it got me thinking it could be helpful to share it with others.... hmmm. I dnt really know where to begin with this one tbh. I have had a lot of symptoms since birth, however they would come and go, prob lasting no more than two weeks, with

Do you have any issues with liver transplant due to BCS?
It has been confirmed as
Essential
Thrombocythaemia
which gives me an added risk of thrombosis and complications leading to my new liver being compromised. Aspirin, Warfarin and Hydrocarbomide are the trinity of drugs I take to take to help avoid this.

A quickie on foot creams, as I've finally found mine!
I remember a while back that there was a discussion on foot creams for people with hot feet, and others said that theirs were the opposite, and freezing! I was hunting around at home for some that we used to stock at work, and couldn't find it, until this weekend. The brand is Gehwol Fusskraft, and

Wow there's a group for Essential Thrombocythaemia!!
So after living with ET for the past 10years and never doing any research into what it was or how many other people are affected by it, I thought it was time to finally have a look! Just to give you some insight into my background I’m a 23year old female living in the UK and was diagnosed with ET

Exemption from prescription charges for MPD medication.
In 2008 the World Health Organization – WHO – reclassified all the MPDs, polycythaemia vera - PV,
essential
thrombocythaemia
- ET, and myelofibrosis - MF, as ‘myeloproliferative neoplasms’, hence the use of MPN on some websites and in medical papers, though we still use the term ‘myeloproliferative disorders

Welcome to the MPD Voice community. Who are we and what do we do?
The point of this community is to provide a space where you can share your experience, support one another, and become better informed about MPDs (myeloproliferative disorders) which include polycythaemia vera (PV), myelofibrosis (MF) and
essential
thrombocythaemia
(ET).

Can something this easy actually aid us????
I found this whilst I was looking at another website that I use: ScienceDaily (Jan. 13, 2010) — For those who do not drink, researchers have found that six essential oils -from thyme, clove, rose, eucalyptus, fennel and bergamot -- can suppress the inflammatory COX-2 enzyme, in a manner similar to resveratrol

Unwelcome Cat, advice welcome?
I like to sleep with my small windows open, unfortunately next door neighbour's cat thinks its an invitation for her to join us too. Whilst I love all furries, being allergic don't want her in my home. I could get hubby to make little mesh net panels in a wooden frame, but would have to take these
