Hello 😊I have recently had hypothyroid symptoms for the first time in 25 years after my then Dr switched me to Metavive Pro which didn't work for me.I have been back on 60mg ERFA for 5 weeks and a lot of the hypo symptoms are starting to go.
But I continue to feel very sad, low, weepy, paranoid, anxious etc. I have CFS and was pretty happy before my thyroid pills were changed.
Is this to be expected?
Can these symptoms take a while to resolve? I have never felt so mentally bad and it is definitely the move to MPro which caused it. No other factors.
Thank you for any responses.

You say in your very good profile that some of your vitamin levels are low. Can you share the last blood results for vitamins with us if you havent already?
For thyroid hormone to work well we need optimal levels of vitamins so likely it willtake a while to raise ferritin especially.
If you felt better before when you were on ERFA then hopefully this is just a passing phase but would be a good idea to speak to your GP about it as well.
Give it a few months back on ERFA and share latest blood results in a new post when you have them.
I was doing well on Metavive for several years, but they changed the recipe. The new version made me ill, so I had to give it up. Middle of the first lockdown was not a good time to try to find something else.
Big sympathy to you. That must have been very hard having it happen during lockdown. I have heard the new recipe doesn't work for a few people. Possibly the neucleotides they added? How long did it take you to recover after going back on levo and lio?
