PMR pain vs DDD pain
He wants me to do
epidural
injection in c4c5c6 as this is where most foraminal narrowing is. Does this sound right? The pain is constant and evenly painful both shoulders and arms.

Alternatives to gabapentin? Long term use of it?
Her pain doctor recommended gabapentin or an
epidural
, but we'd like to try more natural approaches. I appreciate any advice this group could offer

Peripheral arterial disease-angioplasty?
Does anyone know if there are things they can do for this like a sedative or
epidural
? The Dr didn't really say but this is what has put my nan off having it. If anyone knows about angioplasties I could really do with some advice-do they have a high failure rate?

Life after TURP
I was given an
epidural
, but I remember nothing of the operation. During the operation it was noted that I had bradycardia and was given a shot of atropine to increase heart rate.

How Many ISTS do you have? I'm up to 8!
Carpel Tunnel Release and C7-T1
epidural
steroid injection. On to PT – FINALLY SOMETHING FIXED! No more numb fingers and neck can move again! Soooo, now we go see the UrologIST. Because, this new constant need to drip and pee is not acceptable at all!

Fnd Causes - my personal account can anyone offer their opinion/story?
The
epidural
missed and touched a nerve on my right leg and I had
epidural
tap for 5 days after with a nauseating headache. I now have a whole myriad of symptoms, all connected to my right side.

Positive vibes with less pain
Went last Wednesday for bilateral fluoroscopy guided steroid L5
epidural
for my back pain. I was definitely nervous but the physician doing the procedure was so nice and warm that he made me feel at ease. We looked over imaging.

Anaesthesia with compensated cirrhosis
This procedure can be done with or without anaesthetic, but given the excruciating pain I suffered during a recent endometrial biopsy, I want to have an
epidural
anaesthetic for this next investigation. Does anyone have experience of
epidural
anaesthesia? Many thanks for any help you can give me.

Could this have been aFlare?
Cutting to the chase , I eventually had an
Epidural
as physio was not helping, and sad to say , the Injection wasn’t successful either. So I am having to book to repeat the procedure. ( Apparently it can take up to 3 injections?)

Help, two questions see below.
I had an
epidural
and leg manipulation under sedation on 26.4. After I felt wonderful no real pain then I developed pain in my right hip the following week. I’ve had this pain ever since, whenever I twist my hip, which makes walking difficult and painful. The pain is in my groin.

My baby was born after 25hrs of labour, a lot of injections of products in my body, an
epidural
, a C-section and I was released once I saw my new-born. Unfortunately, he had difficulty with his breathing, therefore we had to stay to hospital for 5 days to give twice a day injections.

What is childbirth like?
I’ve just discovered they don’t offer
epidural
at a MLU. I think I’m ok with this but it has led me to wonder what childbirth will really be like.

I struggled with pain at first, the
epidural
didn’t work on my right side so I was is considerable discomfort. My recovery is going well though now, my husband has been an amazing support and looked after me well. I eat little and often and up to now have had no problems with any food.
