What next??? :(
I ended up with a steroid injection & more xrays of hands & feet on Thursday, & now have to wait to see what else they can give me along with the
Enbrel
as it would seem that I have built up a resistance to it?

Humira
I started
Enbrel
after Christmas and didn't have stomach problems and it seemed to be helping ,but then I developed a rash on my neck and chest which I was told was an allergic reaction so I had to stop it. Worried that if I don't get on with
enbrel
there isn't much left to try.

Enbrel losing efficacy
I've been on
Enbrel
for almost 4 years in combination with 20mg subcut MTX. I have been having my first real flare up for the past 6 weeks or so and am waiting for an appointment with my Rheumy next week.

Enbrel to Cimzia switch
hi, I have just been changed from

to take meds or not to take meds...
my level of pain is totally manageable - my primary reason for taking meds would be to make sure it doesn't get more serious... has anyone here gone on
enbrel
without trying Dmards? would you recommend it? What else can I do?

Tocilizumab
I have used
Enbrel
pens and Claxane syringes so I am not worried about giving myself injections. I had to chase up the delivery of
Enbrel
pens and the nurses visit when I first started the
Enbrel
injections, which is why I am concerned about how long everything takes.

Been off

Feelings of defeat
I tried
Enbrel
first with great results was in remission for a year before my lymph node in my neck swelled up to the size on a golf ball. I had surgery to remove it and had to stop the
Enbrel
to solve the problem. Then we tried Humira for a year and a half with no luck.

Healthcare at Home dumped - hurrah!
Having had major problem with Healthcare at Home delivering my
Enbrel
over the last year I was informed by my consultant last November that my health authority (Sheffield) were so fed up with the poor service being provided by H@H they were looking for an alternative delivery service.

Enbrel reaction
I rang my home care nurse this morning and she said I can't have anymore
Enbrel
until I've seen a specialist nurse as it may cause a far worse reaction. She said I'll most likely have to stop taking it.

Tocilizumab
I was on
Enbrel
previously, but it stopped working after stopping for several weeks due to other medical issues, after 12-18 weeks on the
Enbrel
and taking prednisilone (reduced dosage) we came to the same conclusion that the injections were no longer working.

Enbrel site reaction
My question is that I started on
Enbrel
7 weeks ago and had no problems (apart from the fact I find it painful for that 10 secs!) but the last 2 weeks I have had noticeable site reactions which are around 2 x 1 inch, raised and red with a hard centre but not itchy. Has anyone else had this?

Wrinkly skin !
I am wondering if this is a side effect of
Enbrel
, so I would be glad to hear if anyone else on
Enbrel
or any other Anti-tnf injections are experiencing the same sort of problem. June x

Midnight Ben Nevis Climb for RA
Like everyone else who has RA I have peaks and troughs with my health but have become much more stable since I started using
Enbrel
. As a result I like to go on hikes even if I do end up paying for it the next day.

Work issues again!!!
RA for 5 years now, I'm on
enbrel
, mtx and some others. I used to work shift work, earlies, nights and a late shift with various 12, 10 and 8 hrs in the mix too! I work in a busy warehouse on a fork lift truck, out in the cold, with manual labour too.

Anyone on Tocilizumab
I have had RD for approx 20years, my consultant recommended Tocilizumab infusions after
Enbrel
injections stopped working, but I have yet to discuss this with anyone at the clinic. I have been on various other medication such as MTX, Hydrox and had to come off those due to side effects.
