I'm New...
I am only 36 years old and white and I have been going through fibroids for 3 years, (this December) with relentless appointments with the hospital gynaecologist at the maternity ward in Aberdeen. Because of covid I can't see a radiologist about my Embolization so I have to continue with my injection

Should I have a hysterectomy?
My gynaecologist has offered two options: uterine artery
embolisation
or a hysterectomy, removing the only the uterus and leaving the cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes. I am (nearly) 37 and do not want children.

Has anyone with pelvic congestion syndrome ever become pregnant after embolization?
Hi, I am diagnosed and treated with ovarian vein embolization. Although my symptoms are not so stable, they get better. I would like to have another child but also afraid that this PCS will get worsening and not sure if embolization can help (again) Is there anyone having any experience of getting pregnant

Has there been a clinical study on Prostatic Artery Embolization and the impact it may or may not have on PCa?
This procedure has been around for quite some time for BPH, specifically targeting patients that have large prostates or patients that balk at other procedures like TURP, Urolift, etc. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/treatment-tests-and-therapies/prostatic-artery-embolization If cancer requires

Hi, Has anyone here suffered testicle pain and undergone a Varicocele embolization? Did it work, and did it stop your achy painful testicles? Were there any side effects?

Update on pulsatile tinnitus treatment
for the
embolisation
procedure. I took the appointment. It was a 6 hour operation and 2 nights stay. As far as I know he embolised the fistula but also fitted some stents. I had a stonking headache for a few days - only to be expected after someone poking round in there for 6 hrs!

Pelvic congestion syndrome (pcs)
Anyone else suffer with this? I had a ovarian vein embolization to help with chronic pelvic pain 11 months ago along with a total hysterectomy leaving ovaries in for pre existing endometrosis and 3 weeks ago ended up having the left ovary removed and congested veins down the pelvic wall to relieve symptoms
