Testicles & Varicocele Embolization

Hi, Has anyone had Varicocele Embolization done to cure testicle pain?

Nope not yet, I meant to be having it done in a few weeks. I wanted to know if anyone here has undergone a varicocele embolization to stop testicle pain, and did it work?

Hi Mibky, Do you get ache/pain in one or both testicles, does pain go down your legs?

I just get pain in the right testicle. Yes, at times the pain goes down the leg and sometimes in the foot. It gets worse throughout the day especially when sitting for longer periods of time. Get relief when lying down at night. Mine tends to come and go. Pain has lasted for up to a month or two or a few weeks. Then slowly subsides and I will be pain free for a month of more before it reoccurs.

That's exactly how mine started mlbky, my right side is the worst, pain goes down leg and into the foot. I now also get ache/pain in left testicle, leg and foot as well. Sitting, standing and walking makes it all worst, even wearing certain jeans or trousers, also wearing a belt makes the pain worst, but when I lay down the ache/pain will go, takes about an hour or two to happen. Have you seen a urologist, do they know what is causing your pain?
