VT & 2 Ablations

I first experienced VT in September last year following a Prostate Embolisation procedure which only managed to embolise one artery. The day after the procedure I had been out & about instead of resting & during the afternoon had been returning to my flat when I suddenly became overwhelmed with a terrible dizzy feeling like I wa going to collapse or something. I staggered into my flat & sat down but could feel my heart pounding so after about 10 mins I called an ambulance who took me to Barts hospital. My heartbeat had been 120 in the ambulance but soon after arriving it went down on its own to 70 bpm. I was kept in for 4 days on that first hospital stay but the doctors felt that this was benign & may have been brought on by the procedure. I was put on Bisoporol 1.25 kgs & didn't experience any more episodes until 6 months later. During this second incident of VT my heartbeat was again around 110/120 bpm & again at Barts it went down without any medication or treatment. On my two subsequent hospital trips the VT gave me a heartbeat of 200/210 bpm & both times I had to be cardioverted to establish a normal rythmn. I also had 2 Ablation procedures the first one being unsuccessful & the second one a success following which 2 months later I haven't actually experienced any VT attacks apart from some ectopic beats & a fast heartbeat twice which went to a 100bpm but went down to normal in my flat after I called the ambulance. In the first few weeks after my successful ablation I felt dizzy sometimes when out & about & felt very unsteady on my feet to the extent that I became scared to actually leave my flat but during the last month I have felt I'm getting stronger but am still not back to my normal self and still experience a degree of uncertainty & anxiety about whst the future holds despite trying to remain optimistic.

Your last few words reflect how I feel. I'm hoping that by focussing on heart performance as opposed to blocked.arteries side of things I might get some tips and support

Very fortunate being close to Barts :-)
