Help with focus
Hello, As a follow up to my post above, I would appreciate suggestions to help with focus. We have had good results with intuniv when we titrated to 4mg at bedtime. It helped our daughter return to/ near to baseline in term of “removing rough edges” which I think were from use of stimulants. However

Emotions are every where. That uneasy feeling makes me crazy
I know the tools. How do I stop this uneasy feelings. Makes me think and feel everything. Is the vyvanse like a form of recreation drug for me, it stimulates me. What am I doing to myself.

How do I recognize if/when my meds are effective?
Howdy all, new to ADHD / this group and this is my first post in any sort of ADD community. Summary of my current state and the journey to get here: Typical 'good grades super involved' school experience, stumbled in college but through sheer stubbornness managed to graduate. Recently (within past 1yr

Cannabis for ADHD?
I don't have a definitive diagnosis for ADHD (I do for autism), but my therapist thinks I have it, and after filling out a questionnaire for my psychiatrist she agreed to try and treat me as if I have it. I've tried a variety of medications and nothing has helped so far. I tried Adderall, up to 36mg

Why do I experience severe brain fog and zombie focus after taking Vyvanse for 4~5 hours?
TL;DR: After prescribed to take Vyvanse for 4~5 hours, started to have severe brain fog and zombie focus, would like to get your advice. English is not my native language, so I hope you will point out if I have expressed myself unclearly. I apologize if any expressions offend you, but that was not my

These ADHD meds are making me miserable!
it seems like I’ve tried them all! None of them work well except for Jornay PM! Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover it. Even with a pre-authorization they won’t allow it. Now I am forced to Take Vyvanse again because that is what my insurance excepts, however I am in a constant fog, I am exhausted

Teen son with ADHD
Hello, I am new to this community and this is my first post. My 16 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD back in July and he started taking Vyvanse in September (started at 30mg and now at 40mg). The remote learning is not ideal for him and he doesn't have a lot of friends supporting him at this time.

Guanfacine works but makes me faint and Vyvanse isnt working. Suggestions?
34 F just DX inattentive ADD with anxiety, new supervisor position has me all over the place. I was on Guanfacine 30mg but my blood pressure went below 90/60, bad news. Honestly guanfacine worked so I was sad to be off it. Currently on 30 mg of Vyvanse and it seems like it's making my ADD symptoms worse

Needing a bit of direction.
My daughter is 9 and has been diagnosed with ADHD and is prescribed Vyvanse (not taking it yet). Her grades have been up and down from failing, to average, and above average. At first we thought it was because of her going to school on line so we were able to switch to in person. She continues to struggle

Looking for suggestions to deal with loss of appetite
So I'm now on my third month of Vyvanse and I just started an increased dose for the first time. The past two months I already noticed a drastic change in my appetite, It's gone down by so much. Most of the changes are fine, like I'm no longer gravitating towards snacking as a coping mechanism and therefore

Understanding Vyvanse, the feeling and the correct dosage
Hi, I’m newly diagnosed with ADHD at 35 and have been prescribed Vyvanse at 30mg. So after the first two days being uncomfortable after taking (spaced out, zombie like, crash 3/4 hours later), I altered my diet (no caffeine now and no sugar where I can help it). Since then it’s been pretty smooth, as

ADHD meds causing vomiting
My 9 year old was recently diagnosed with ADHD. We've been doing the trial and error process with medications and it's not going well. We tried Vyvanse, methylpheninidate, and Strattera. They have all caused vomiting (for 24 hrs) after either a single dose or when we start approaching anything other

I have dug myself in a hole..I do about 85% of my son's schoolwork :(
Hi there, My son is 16 and has inattentive ADHD. We've tried methyphenidate and Vyvanse and both were a disaster. They made him very sick and I never want to relive that again. He's a junior. His freshman year he didn't do too badly academically, but I had to watch him like a hawk. If I didn't he

Looking to connect with fellow Adult ADHD folks
Hi everyone, It's really weird for me to get on here and not be able to use my actual name, also now seeing other people's usernames, somewhatoutdoorsman seems somewhat non-characterizing. So I suppose I'll do it here. Single male, 37, (god I hope I'm not violating any of the rules). Found out last
