I, would like to read from people that are taking
Eliquis
about indications , age ,side effects. When I was on baby aspirin my hematocrit became low and reversed when I stopped the aspirin.

What to ask my EP
I am on amioadrone, Metropol and
Eliquis
. I see my EP this Wednesday for a 6 week check up. What are some questions I should ask him. I like to be informed and ready with answers if given options. As you can tell, I am a planner😀 Thanks for any input.

I have been on Eliquis for five months.
I am 71 and have been taking
Eliquis
since June of this year (five months). The only side effect I have is the $150 a month I have to pay when I am in the coverage gap.

Amioadrone and weight gain
My dr put me on amioadrone and
eliquis
. I have hyperthyroidism and take synthroid but I am now gaining weight. The dr said I would only be on amioadrone for 6 weeks and don't read about the side effects so, of course, the first thing I did was read them. One of the side effects was weight gain.

Bone Pain?
The only other new Med I'm on is
Eliquis
to make my blood less "sticky". (Warfarin wasn't working). I have no other new bodily ailments. Nausea I've had for the past year, prior to getting on Hydroxy. My spleen is enlarged but hasn't increased in size. Any ideas?

More Blood Work
I live in Colorado USA and wonder if anyone else has issue getting Apaxiban also known as
Eliquis
? This is very frustrating because the longer I'm without the more chance there is a clot forming in anartery. With my history it's almost guaranteed.

Blood thinners eg. Eliquis and osteoarthritis supplements
I was diagnosed with afib two years ago and have been on the blood thinner,
Eliquis
, since that time. I have experienced no bleeding episodes or bruising while on this medication. I am 73 years (young) and do have severe osteoarthritis.

American TV ads for NOACs.
In particular I saw at least 6 advertisements for the new anticoagulants Xarelto and
Eliquis
. One advertisement featured an aged Arnold Palmer and a group of men on a golf course saying something along the lines of "We don't let AFib spoil our fun, we take Xarelto.

Aspirin Facts
I was originally put on
Eliquis
, but ended up with a significant bleeding episode. They took me off everything except 325 mg of aspirin each day. There is a history of blood clots and strokes in my family, so I'm concerned with being proactive. Is taking aspirin dangerous? If so, why?

Goals
I'm taking
Eliquis
,Lipitor, Coreg, Tikosyn and Plavix. I believe sometimes that less is more. I'd like to either reduce or eliminate most of the drugs other than the anticoagulants that I need due to the stents and maybe the Tikosyn. I never took ANY meds until last year.

Aspirin
For some reason when I visited my EP two months ago he put me on
Eliquis
and told me told hold off on the aspirin. My cardiologist told me not to stop the aspirin. Well to make a long story short I never restarted the aspirin.

Which "Blood thinner"
Apixaban (
Eliquis
) was the third drug to become available in the United States. Apixaban comes in two doses, 5 mg twice daily or 2.5 mg twice daily. In the Aristotle trial, apixaban was at least as good and tended to be better than warfarin at preventing stroke (3).

Antidote for Rivaroxaban ! and mention of Apixaban
The antidote has already been shown to successfully reverse the anticoagulation activity of apixaban (
Eliquis
, Bristol-Myers Squibb/Pfizer).
