Amlodipine
I’m curious if any of you guys are currently taking Amlodipine and what side effects you have experienced (if any) and any feedback on
Eligard
would also be helpful as I know many have taken it recently in place of Lupron. I won’t be taking
Eligard
again as the past 4 weeks have been miserable.

Looking for suggestions
Then 35 days of radiation,
Eligard
every 4 months, X Tandi for 15 months and most recently 4 sessions of Chemo (Docetaxel) The irony is that my PSA jumped from 3 to 13 while on the chemo. Any hints of which direction to look next?

HCG for Testosterone Recovery after ADT
Now, after letting me off Lupron/
Eligard
a year early, a urologist in the same center (Johns Hopkins) who is helping me with nocturnal frequency suggests HCG to assist with T recovery. He says my time to that can be substantially reduced.

Just Diagnosed with T4N1 Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate
I had an
Eligard
injection 2 weeks ago and another scheduled in 6 months. I have radiation therapy scheduled to commence in March 2021. I am now at the acceptance stage of the grieving process after 2 months of fear and worrying. The hormone therapy side effects haven’t kicked in yet.

Chemo not working for bone mets
He had his 3rd
Eligard
injection 3 weeks ago so we’ve yet to get latest PSA reading. Now we are looking for special funding for the arbiraterone, as the billing department said there are some “scholarships” if you qualify. Otherwise we use Express Scripts through his union plan.

Night Sweats
This is definitely different to the Lupron/
Eligard
night sweats. I’ve been researching night sweats and prostate cancer but most of the stuff I am finding blames the low testosterone but this was never severe for me nor did they last beyond the first couple of months of ADT.

Update after 3rd Lu177
Along with Xgeva and
Eligard
/Lupron all throughout since diagnosis in 2018. No genetic mutations when blood was tested 2yrs ago. PD-L1 negative. Fyi, actinium is not available here in the Philippines and i believe Xofigo as well when I asked our MO.

Orchiectomy Nov 2 , its not that bad
After 7 months on monthly
Eligard
(same as Lupron), I got the snip yesterday. ADT with Zytiga and Prednisone. Longer duration Luprolide is even worse than the 1 month shot, so also no thanks. I decided shots for the rest of my life, no thanks.

6 Months Post Chemo - My treatment Sit Rep, 😎 DD
Being stage IV, surgery was ruled out, so it was ADT (casodex and
eligard
), Chemo (docetaxcel) which got about 40% of the cancer and Radio (VMAT, 60GYs) which killed the remaining PCa cells. So, six months after chemo, the nails on my hands have almost recovered.

ADT Break
I'm not tolerating Lupron/
Eligard
very well at all. The fatigue is debilitating sometimes. Talked to my MO yesterday, told him I want to take at least one shot off the calendar (I'm on the 3 month plan) to see what happens.

Slow brain
I've been on
eligard
for 2.5 years or so. I asked my doc if
eligard
can make a person clumsy. He just said it slows the whole brain. Not only do we think in a fog we also move in one Mike

ADT...Eligard vs. Degarelix?
She seems to be looking at
Eligard
or Degarelix. Any comments? Other preferences based on fewer side effects balanced with effectiveness?

Post Docetaxel treatment plan
With Lupron/
Eligard
& chemotherapy his PSA went from 680 to 3.0 and his alkaline phos is down to 56, he had to many bone mets to count and the scan showed "significant improvement" post chemo.

Medication side effects or bone metastasis pain?
I am now thinking maybe this is due to Xgeva or Lupron/
Eligard
. I’ve been on Xgeva since May 2019 with no troubles and Lupron since this trip all started. Just to rule out your possible diagnosis I have a clean US for DVT, not dehydrated and normal electrolytes.

MO Recommendations within Driving Range of Ohio
He prescribed the ADT (
Eligard
). A few months ago, he abruptly quit practice. My RO referred me to another MO at the hospital but he doesn't specialize in prostate cancer.

Are these symptoms side effects of Eligard?
I have been on
Eligard
for close to 3 years and have experienced several common side effects, mainly fatigue and reduced endurance. Now I've become much more clumsy that I remember being, altho a faulty memory can be a side effect.
