Copd meds
Hi, my name is Mel and I have had copd now roughly 5 years. I currently have a salamol reliever and am on duaklir genuair inhalation powder, which usually works for me. More breathless than usual so a new doctor put me on relvar ellipta fluticasone furoate 184/22 micrograms. Had a really bad episode

My doctor has taken me off spiriva as it wasn't helping my breathing in any way. I now use Duaklir Genuair which does help my breathing and also helps my chest from feeling tight. I hope this helps you. Maybe you could suggest a change to your doctor. Regards Lynn

Anyone on “Duaklir Genuair”? Some of the side effects seem worse than the reason why I’m on it?

Preventer inhaler
My doctor has just prescribed this new preventer called
Eklira
Genuair
. I am still weaning off prednisolone and wondered if safe to take preventer at same time as finishing prednisolone. I think it should be ok? I forgot to ask my doctor, but i think he would have said?

Inhaler change!
I've been using the following inhaler for some 12 months :
Eklira
322micrograms/dose
Genuair
(AstraZeneca UK Ltd) - 60 dose - inhale 1 dose twice daily. Has been ok but recently seemed not to be so effective.

Eklira Genuair
I've just changed from spiriva to
Eklira
Genuair
. I had read up a lot on it and I asked my copd nurse if I could give it a try. I can feel the benefits in a week of using it. Many people complained about he taste, but, if your desperate you don't care about the taste if it's doing a good job.
