Hello everyone, just want to ask anyone out there experiences with trelegy. I need to stop my duaklir genuair and clenil modulite and try something else as I absolutely can't do anything at the moment because of my breathing. Still really breathless after 2 weeks of finishing my clarithromycin and not improving. My cough has disappeared which helped me clear my chest too. Thanks in advance ☺️

Hi Mellywelly,, I just started Trelegy about 2 weeks ago after using Breztri for about 6 months or so. I will admit I have a few side effects but it seems to be a game changer for me at least. I like that it once a day and done, remember to rinse! I am also going to start a biologic Tezpire this week,, anything to keep those airways open. Good Luck!!!

Hello! I was on it for about two years and found it good, no side effects. I just came to a (pathetic!) point where I couldn't inhale it properly . It did make a big difference to me, hope it does it for you xx

hello. I have used Trelegy for about 3 years now and had very few minor exacerbations. I find it is one of the best preventer inhalers for me.( we’re all different). I had to come off duaklir as it gave me palpitations. The only side effect at the mo with my Trelegy is a hoarse voice/throat. But that is a usual side effect i believe. Have to gargle and rinse mouth thoroughly after using it.

I hope you find it suits you.🙂

I have been on trelegy previosly in the last two years. Found it was keeping my copd stable. Then I had a smoke inhalation problem from my neighbour lighting a bon fire and was subjected to two days of billowing black smoke drifting through our back deck. I had to close my house up for a couple of days and remain inside as much as I could which was most of the time. I have chooks I needed to feed and the gully was filling with this air pollution. So had to go on antibiotics and prednisone. The antibiotics didn't work well so ended up at emergency department. They prescribed a different antibiotic and sent a letter to my doctor saying I needed a medication review and was put on to Trimbow. That worked for 6hours max so doctor said to split my morning dose in two and take two half doses to see if it made a difference. To cut a long story short it made no difference. So I decided to go back on Trellegy which I still had a script for and am perfectly stable again. So Trelegy works well for me was shocked when they wanted to change my medication. Sometimes doctors need to listen to there patients. Hope Trelegy works for you. Sometimes it takes a while to get your meds right. Wishing you all the best.

I can sympathise with the smoke , neighbours bonfire set me off and I ended up in A and E .

I was given Fostair instead of Clenil by asthma nurse ….only lasted about 6 hours for me

Then prescribed Trimbow , the same effect . I googled , similar ingredients .

Now got Qvar and Ventolin if needed .

Ideas have changed so much on Ventolin use over the years .

They won't dish out ventolin in our area any more, I think that stinks

I've been on Trelergy for about four years. I think it's pretty good as these things go. I had a brief spell on Trimbow last year (nurse said to try it) but it didn't really touch the sides. Back to Trelergy PDQ for me! No side effects at all, but I always have a good gargle after taking it.

Been on Trelegy for about ten weeks now and it’s been something of a game changer for me. No other inhaler does anything at all for me (dry bronchiectasis) but the Trelegy seems to give me much improved lung capacity - which in turn lets me exercise more - which in turn ….! Only issue was croaky throat, but I now rinse , gargle, then use a soft toothbrush to clean along the gums and corners, and that seems to have helped a lot.

Good luck! I hope it works as well for you.
