a pinch of salt needed until you see the expert
The plan is to phone me in a couple of weeks when he’s seen the
echocardiogram
images and then he thinks the likely way forward is just to monitor me. It’s unlikely I’d need surgery now.

Echocardiogram Report - Bizarre as simply added to my NHS record.
He agreed to send me for an
echocardiogram
. After a four month wait I had the echo. Then just by accident, I found the following summary on my GP record. There has not been any contact from either the referring cardiologist or my GP.

Entresto
So far had ct scan,
echocardiogram
, angiogram and mri scan. Consultant is definitely getting all the relevant information he needs. But, I feel that I'm not getting any interim support. I have no idea what's next. Is entresto a wonder drug?? I'm currently fighting with gp to fund it.

Husband in constant AF
He is now on waiting list for cardiology and has and appointment for
echocardiogram
in 5 weeks. It just all feels a little scary that its just ok to be left as it is.

Echo v MRI
I assume a cardiac MRI gives more detail than an

?

Disappointing
However, the cardiologist did perform a transthoracic
echocardiogram
and passed the results onto the specialist I have been seeing. That was on the 26th July and I am still waiting and feel completely in limbo...........

24hr ECG confusion ?
Hello – I hope this isn’t a daft question – I have been undergoing a number of tests over a recent period (
Echocardiogram
, Cardiac angiogram, 24hr ECG, resting ECG, and ETT).

Yesterday was a surprising day
I met my new cardiologist on Monday and I thought that I liked him. I had a call that afternoon to tell me I was scheduled for an echo cardiogram on Friday morning. on Thursday they called to confirm and give me those last minute things they tell you about what not to eat etc somehow it came up that

Global Developmental Delay
Echocardiogram
was done and luckily, it was normal. For the urologist, my son needs to have the surgery for his scrotum since it is not descended. Up to now, he is already 3 years old and we are still having that therapy and Praise God, he can walk now, but no speech.

REHAB REFERRAL
They did an
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks later and told me all was well. Then referred back to the local hospital, Royal Shrewsbury, for rehab. Got a phone call from them to say they were closed because of “guess what” and heard nothing more.

Yearly echocardiogram!
Afterwards I was told I would have a yearly
echocardiogram
. I haven't had one since November 2020. I know there has been a backlog since COVID . I'm wondering if I should chase the appointment up or do you have more time between appointments if everything was ok at the last one.

ablation report
After what seemed ilke 15-20 mins (nearly 90 mins) I remember Dr Wright saying "all done" before taking an
echocardiogram
and the staff wheeling me back to the room. I was disappointed initially to find myself in AFib which progressed into tachycardia.

MRI 5 weeks ago with no results.
I have a
echocardiogram
next year and MRI in 5years. I'm so anxious because when I have read about asymptomatic aortic stenosis you only have -2-3 years but he was talking years when I spoke to him last February. It doesn't help not being able to get GP appts. Getting so down.

Shock diagnosis for daughter
Morning all As some of you know I was diagnosed with AFib last year and had an ablation October 2021, I’m now undergoing further investigation (waiting for an
echocardiogram
and cardiac angiogram) anyway my eldest daughter (age 23) has been pestering her Dr for tests due to family history and palpitations

Update ablation
She confirms I have Afib and Flutter and after an
echocardiogram
that I have some liquid round the heart . I have been put on Amiodarone ( not happy as I have thyroid nodules and don't want to upset them) and Furosemide for 4 days.
