Pulmonary pressure no symptons excellent exercise capacity?
I find the
echocardiogram
( or indeed most medical tests) stressful and I wonder if that can impact the estimated pulmonary pressure . My consultant is on the case and will be seeking additional opinions but at the moment no change in my meds or any further tests. Any opinions

What does reduced diastolic flow left ventrical mean to joe public?
Been to the doctors today and the results form my
echocardiogram
were along the lines of slightly reduced diastolic flow to or in left ventricle (not sure which she said as it was very technical and to be fair I don't think she did either!)

Swine Flu Jab
During this time I suffered a myocardial infarction (NSTEMI ) my
echocardiogram
has confirmed severe hypokinesia of the basal inferior septal wall of the left ventricle and an estimated ejection fraction of 50% with no chamber enlargement ( before this I had no heart problems and was working full-time

UPDATE ON CHEST PAIN AND BREATHLESSNESS....
The results of the test showed the need for further investigation and my appointment for an
echocardiogram
and an electrocardiogram is for two weeks time. He is also sending me for an exercise stress test. What a different attitude eh?

After seeing Dr Irvine in the clinic he felt an
Echocardiogram
was now in order, after another few weeks I duly attended for that. the shock this time was not only did it confirm the reduced heart function it showed it to be worse than initial findings.

Down in the dumps and just about ready to be put down.
I was then booked in for an
Echocardiogram
, results now in. Heart Failure, with less than 40% pumping fraction and Tachycardia........ OH my god, how do I deal with this.

My GP says I'm an enigma!
I have been experiencing periods of breathlessness for the last 6 months and my rhuematologist suspected pulmonary fibrosis. After having chest x rays, a high resolution C.T scan, overnight pulse oximetry, a cardiac stress test, ECG,and an echo cardiogram the chest and cardiac consultants have told

Gutted!!
On Nov 22nd, I had an
Echocardiogram
& last Wednesday had an appointment with my Cardiac Nurse who showed me the results. My new valve is only working at 35% of it's capacity, it should be around 80-85% by now, my heart is also still enlarged & my Tricuspid Valve is leaking slightly too.
