If You Want to Know Your Risk of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Stop Focusing on LDL-C, Instead Focus on Apo B & Apo A1 - the ApoB/ApoA1 Ratio
I just had another
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks ago and it confirms that my heart is operating optimally with no evidence of damage. I exercise daily including a regimen of 12,000 to 15,000 steps during the fall/winter and 15,000 to 25,000 steps during the spring summer.

I’m losing my mind :(
He’s done an
echocardiogram
, 7 day heart monitor and is talking about a steroid to raise my blood pressure, but saw no spikes in heart rate to support POTS.

Cardioversion
I have been diagnosed with Afib following a massive pulmonary embolism in April this year. Echo cardiogram shows no lasting heart damage ("surprisingly" the technician has put!) but all EKG tests show Afib present at all times. I am unaware of it, but I have to say I feel like I aged ten years following

MIN-102 trial 72-week update
As a result, I have to go back in a week to have the
Echocardiogram
at UCL because she booked it too late. No too inconvenient for me because I live only an hour away, but this might be more problematic for others.

WELL OVERDUE UPDATE ON AS CLEAR AS MUD . . the saga continues 😩😩😩
So it was decided That I go for repeated tests and specifically a
echocardiogram
stress echo and then possibly a further angiogram within the next following days . . Great OK. The day before my tests were due to start, DISASTER struck.

An interesting trigger
Had a stress
echocardiogram
last Thursday (that was “interesting”) and my heart is apparently excellent. The consultant cardiologist who did that totally agreed with my “electrician” and said going into deep sleep not an uncommon trigger.

Dealing with things
Luckily I spoke to my GP and they have referred me to have an
echocardiogram
which I’m looking forward to hopefully getting some answers. More than anything I am just feeling very alone with all of this.. I’m 26 years old. Mentally is something I’m struggling with everyday.

HHT and AF
Referred me to Cardiologist and for an
echocardiogram
. My added complication is that I have HHT which means I have daily nosebleeds and also have bleeds in my stomach so have to take iron tablets for anaemia.

Managing anxiety: travel safety?
Got the results of my stress
echocardiogram
: heart is just fine, despite repeated spells of ridiculous labored breathing, nausea and vertigo. So I gotta assume anxiety attacks. Been through this before. My question: Is it safe for me to drive a lot?

Echocardiogram
So he suggested a
Echocardiogram
and I said I was going to ask to have one done . He said I should of had one done before now . Anyway I’m actually happy I’m getting this done . If this was six weeks ago I would of freaked and anxiety through the roof , but not now .

Freaking out over results
I have had numerous EKG’s (all said to be “normal” for me, meaning they don’t look textbook, but haven’t changed in 15 years), and
echocardiogram
done in April of this year as a preventive measure because my mother had a genetic defect in one of her valves, which came back showing slight regurgitation

Anyone having to have a echocardiogram & 72hr ECG monitor because you are on T3?
I have been on 75mcg of T3 for 10 years now, with no issues. I had a Dexa scan 3 years ago with no issues. My previous doctor retired, but the new private dr insists that I do the following test. Has anyone had to do this and what did they say about the results? He won't prescribe me any more T3 if I

Ectopic history,fatigue and hoarseness
I’ve had ecg and
echocardiogram
and both show no issues.Similarly blood tests and chest x-ray all clear. I’ve been taking 1.25mg bisoprolol daily for some years and came off it for a while but this didn’t help with this fatigue.

Blood Pressure & Heart Rate
Was at hospital clinic yesterday having a "Stress
Echocardiogram
." As I'm going to need the Aortic & Mitral valves replaced. However, I was told to stop my 10mg of Bisoprolol for 48hrs before test as I did.
