Interatrial Septal Aneurysm (ASA) - anyone with knowledge or experience of this condition or relevant recent research?
I am 75, with 2 years of paroxysmal AF, and looking again at my first
Echocardiogram
I had in May 2022, I notice there was a finding of an "interatrial septal aneurysm". This finding was mentioned almost in passing, without further emphasis or mention in the Report's Conclusions.

Taking 2 water tablets
I recently had my annual
echocardiogram
and it’s showing that my ejection fraction has decreased . The cardiologist has now prescribed Dapagliflozin 10 mg as well as the Spironolactone . I’m concerned as they are both diuretics and I’m already in the toilet day and night.

Somewhat in limbo
Since that post, the
echocardiogram
ordered by my GP was conducted. The cardiologist who conducted it said that my heart was basically normal on all things he looked at. All parts of the heart are normal; flow is normal; no sign of enlarged atrium; no sign of athlete’s heart.

Persistent debilitating AF
Since then my wife has come out of AF after three and a half weeks and has had an
echocardiogram
which was amazingly comprehensive. She is due to see a cardiologist in two weeks to find out what has been discovered so fingers crossed.

AFib and magnetic bracelet
I am still a newbie Afibber, just diagnosed 4 weeks ago and waiting for
echocardiogram
. I have only had 1 bad AFib episode so far, ending up in hospital etc. But I know they can occur at any time.

5.5 years Lupron/Zytiga, still <.01. Just a good story to share on Prostate Cancer
An
echocardiogram
shows his heart is okay too thankfully. He just had pneumonia but is recovering. He had a TURP and may need to do it again, lots of tissue. That was scary and a lot of blood for a week, but it helped. He was holding 600ml of urine after peeing(!), now is holding 290ml.

Ectopics Update
I have had an
echocardiogram
which shows that my heart is structurally sound. Consultant has put me on 80mg of Propanolol a day to slow heart down and to reduce the anxiety that goes with the concern over the Ectopics.

30yo - Myocarditis - Weird Heart Symptoms - Looking for help!
I eventually managed to get a 24hr ecg fitted, and an
echocardiogram
. Unfortunately these referrals came in 4 months down the line, I was still dealing with all the symptoms above until then too.

My echocardiogram showed a structurally normal heart. A bit of good news. Ct angiogram via NHS now booked by EP.
He was happy that my
echocardiogram
showed no structural issues and no signs of any cardiomyopathy. He felt that a recent operation may have been what caused me to now be in persistent AF. Any of you know how long I might have to wait for my CT on the nhs ?

Af and ejection fraction 42%
He had an
echocardiogram
2 weeks ago and we now know he has reduced ef of 42% and enlarged atrium. The GP spoke to him suggesting an anomoly on the echo which sent us into a worry.
