mental health in first trimester
I’m wondering what anyone else has done to deal with first trimester stress. And in particular if anyone has any experience with contacting GP etc for support and whether it’s actually helped/ any other things tried? I’m 6w. I’m convinced that it’s a blighted ovum or otherwise already lost/ going

2 Ectopic pregnancies, both fallopian tubes removed this year- anyone in the same position have a positive pregnancy after all that??
Hi all, I’ve had a really tough year having just gone through my second emergency op of the year following a second Ectopic pregnancy post IVF. I have now lost both my fallopian tubes… The morphine is now wearing off from hospital, and I’m feeling incredibly low. I just need to hear some positive IVF

*Sensitive post. 3rd and final round of IVF, aged 42. Just received first positive pregnancy test ever and i am delighted but so scared.
Hi there, I have been following these forums for many years but kinda of hid in the back ground. Yesterday I received a positive beta 14 days following a 5 day blastocyst transfer. I have had 2 previous failed rounds of IVF. They said my beta was a good result and they think its viable. I was really

2nd Miscarriage - any advice?
Hoping someone out there understands what this is like. My wife (36) and I (33) have been struggling to conceive with unexplained infertility. We started IVF back in July and had a fresh transfer followed by a double FET last month, sadly both attempts ended in an early miscarriage before week 6. We

A maternal brain hormone that builds bone - Nature - Published: 10 July 2024
It's findings are related to hormonal changes during the start of mid-
pregnancy
lactation and
early
newborn nurturing that could possibly lay the foundation for a new targeted treatment for osteoporosis in both men and women.

Sweep and induction
I just wondered how successful your sweeps have been so
early
in
pregnancy
(and this is our first) and when induced, has it gone on for days and days? Feeling slightly nervous about it all.

In an exhibition!
I then painted it over a pretty traumatic time - IVF, IVF failure,
pregnancy
, miscarriage,
pregnancy
, birth,
early
motherhood. I'm now thrilled that this canvas is in an online exhibition in the D31 Art Gallery in Doncaster.

anxiety around 20 week scan and possible gender reveal
Early
in the
pregnancy
, I found it fun doing the gender predictors and looking at the old wives tales to try and guess what it could be. They never came back with a real answer , some would say girl some boy. But I’ve been convinced almost since the day I found out I am carrying a boy.

Feeling shivery and achy
Hey all Don't even know if this is the right place to ask but since I'm TTC maybe there might be a link. I'm feeling all achy and sensitive skin today. I sneezed a few times but also had kicked up a bit of dust before. I don't have a high temperature, and I don't have covid (as per the test).

Informing employer of maternity leave - rights if late
Hello everyone and especially any teachers out there, I told my head teacher back in June of my
pregnancy
and my due date, but it was
early
at that stage to give a predicted start date of maternity leave.

I'm not on any medication and I'm incredibly reluctant to take anything stronger so

Combined pill + missed period
Hi, I have been on the combined pill (microgynon) for around 2 years now. I once stopped a pack for a month and went back on my period with no problems. However, recently I decided to track any changes when taking the pill and when not, so I stopped for this month. Now, I am 10 days late and my last
