Feeling shivery and achy

Hey all

Don't even know if this is the right place to ask but since I'm TTC maybe there might be a link.

I'm feeling all achy and sensitive skin today. I sneezed a few times but also had kicked up a bit of dust before.

I don't have a high temperature, and I don't have covid (as per the test). Any ideas what this could be?

I'm a week out from period or pregnancy test. In the future.

It just sounds like a virus. You won’t always spike a proper temp with a cold-type infection (I often don’t even when I feel naff). Try some paracetamol (ok when TTC) and see if it helps. Xx

Hi ForABabyOanda. Oh dear, sounds a bit like some sort of virus. Take some regular paracetamol for the shivers and any aches and pains. No anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Drink plenty of fluids and honey and lemon if you develop a sore throat. Get well soon. Diane

thanks everyone - it was the weirdest thing, like after a vaccine where you have a short fever then cycle through all the other symptoms for brief periods before righting yourself. But I’d had no vaccine. Not offered covid booster OR flu this year. My husband has now come down with a proper cold so don’t know if that’s the same thing that’s hit him harder, or he’s got something completely different!
