best ferritin supplement?
The nurse in the office called and recommended ferrous sulfate 325 MG, 2x day, and warned me that it causes constipation (oh, great) but gave no alternative other than
dulcolax
(softener, no thank you).

Anyone tried Dulcolax suppositories for constipation?
I see that
Dulcolax
suppositories contain bisacodyl rather than glycerin and I wondered if they might suit me better i.e. help me go to the loo but without the side effects

How to deal with Drug induced constipation in pregnancy?
Failing this I am considering an overnight
Dulcolax
- although they are not recommended in pregnancy 😳 Has anyone else take them in pregnancy? I am on the cusp of 1st/2nd trimester... Before I got pregnant I would occasional take
dulcolax
and it worked fine for me - I never had agonising cramps.

Peppermint oil
I started with Senna and then when they stopped working went onto
dulcolax
liquid until recently even that didnt work too well. Basically i suspect i have a slow gut. Anyway I now take the odd glycerine depository instead but in the last 2 to 3 weeks i have started taking 50mg Sertraline or zoloft.

Does dulcolax help repair nerves?
I just had a thought though.... does
dulcolax
increase the feeling of the nerves to help him poo and if so would that help his nerves recover quicker?

Worsening Constipation and Strange Tightness in Lower Left Rib
I have tried some days of Lactulose then some of Laxido and some of
Dulcolax
softener: they have all made me go a bit but I know that there is still a huge backlog in there. I can take four sachets of Laxido for three days and just do a few hard tiny pieces.

Constipation is a pain
I don't go unless I use laxatives (
dulcolax
) and can take up to 20 at a time! I then have the most incredible heartburn and indigestion before it eventually takes effect. I drink 3 litres of water a day, I don't eat gluten or sugar and eat relatively healthy.

Scared about colonoscopy prep!!!
So I have to take Bisacodyl (
Dulcolax
) for prepping for colonoscopy. And I got online and read people’s horror stories about it. Now (since I already took it) I am freaking out. Anyone got advice? Anyone ever use it?

Chronic constipation
For 2 nights I took 2
dulcolax
bisacodyl which worked so last night I took 1 but it didn't work. Without taking a laxative I'm sure I'd never have a poo.

Day 7- no poo- in distress
I had to go out and buy Lactoluse and Senna to try as the
Dulcolax
made him ill even on tiny doses. Paediatrician advised us to give 10mils a day of Lactoluse and 1mils then to up of Senna. He’s been doing a poo dance for two days now and he’s refusing point blank to push it out.
