Could dopamine be too much? Or is it a wrong Diagnostic PD 5 years ago?
Could
dopamine
be too much? Or is it a wrong Diagnostic PD 5 years ago? 25 hours after my last dose of Sinemet I was fine and chocked of the result of this experience ! What should we do? What should we think? Is it too much
dopamine
the problem when I am on medication?

Changing Meds to balance motor fluctuation and dyskinesia - Still working on it.
Also when I complained about leg cramps at night he suggested that may be because I'm not getting enough
dopamine
at night and that is why I am so stiff when I sleep. So he suggested I increase my night dosage. I'm still testing that theory out. Let's see how it goes.

Relaxation techniques
Note, it was a while after stopping the

What are reasonable expectations for my neurologist
(or generally be amenable to prescribing beyond the old standard drugs that only seek to get
dopamine
into your brain? Snapped this photo from my patio last night. I live on an Island and don't spend all my time fretting about Parkinsons.

I'm off the 8mg patches, now how long do I have to stay off before I can reintroduce at lower dose?
Assuming that the maximum dose I should be taking is 3mg, how long should I leave myself off
dopamine
meds altogether before I go back on them again? Pregabalin really doesn't agree with me, and I want to get off it, or at least reduce my dose, as soon as possible. Many thanks for any help, Tim

Hi .. My name is Betsy and I have RLS
My Doctor has given me 3 different
dopamine
drugs in the last 6 months and I have not been able to tolerate any of them even at the lowest 0.25 dose . I felt explosions in my head when falling asleep , and after that woke up every hour .

I am not an art critic, but I do play one on TV.
I understand that artist explore new directions but it almost seems that your earlier work was influenced by a lack of
Dopamine
and your later work maybe a little to much
Dopamine
. Do you feel the same way about your work? Do you find that your earlier or later work is more sought after.

Tramadol withdrawal
I can already rule out any
dopamine
drugs (augmentation) and Tramadol (insomnia). In the meantime can anybody recommend any over the counter sleep remedies that won't aggravate my restless legs? I don't expect much but I would like to think I can get a few hours sleep.

Natural Dopamine vs C/L
I guess the primary concern would be whether
dopamine
crosses the blood-brain barrier. It's late and I'm exhausted will check tomorrow thank you for your replies

follow up how early can you get PD
"Iron is needed to produce
dopamine
which is the chief neurotransmitter for regulating the coordination of fine motor function such as limb movements. Since vitamin B12 is closely linked to iron levels in the body, the vitamin deficiency is often seen along with iron deficiency."

Pain in Parkinson's
Some pain is a symptom of Parkinson’s itself, but other forms can be caused by too much medication, including one which is sometimes caused by dyskinesia, the uncontrollable movements often associated with long-term use of
dopamine
replacement drugs.

Was this patient's long history of meditation a factor in the remission of his PD?
The authors propose that the patient's long history of meditation practice may have been one contributing factor of this improvement, since meditation has been shown to release
dopamine
in the striatum. I'll certainly try to find out more about this. Meanwhile, I'll spend more time meditating.

In recovery, Getting back to Basics
I have had internet access but have developed a bit of a fixation with podcasts and knitting patterns (my
dopamine
hit, it could be worse, eh?) and don't extend myself much beyond those.

The cure, coy as ever
It was believed Parkinson’s occurs when mitochondria – which supply power to cells – malfunctioned, causing brain cells that produce the key hormone
dopamine
to die.

What can I expect from Neurology Referral?
Also for the last few months I have spent more time researching the role of
dopamine
and I think I am exhibiting other symptoms which I previously thought unrelated. These are not limited to: fatigue, compulsive behaviour, depression, anxiety, trouble sleeping and anhedonia.

Early PD Stage Clinical Trials / Treatment Options?
Based on my reading so far, it seems that it is important to find treatment (which doesn't seem to exist) before too much
dopamine
is lost. So I wonder if any of you have insight / direction to share on clinical trials for early phase PD?
