Cervical lesion
After almost five years of slowly increasing PSAs (and failed oral chemo drugs), I finally got my first detectable lesion. It is on the posterior aspect of the 6th vertebrae. My question is what can I expect now (currently starting Docetaxol, had one appt of 10)? Will they use radiation or surgery?

He has had
Docetaxel
, all the hormone treatments, radiation and most of the injections. He has been on Zytiga and Abiraterone, plus steroids. Oncologist is looking into Immune therapy and has also offered the last chemotherapy available. Percentage is between 10-25 % effective. So not great odds.

Statin and COX2 inhibitor for MCRPC?
We then embarked on
Docetaxel
10 cycles and 12months after starting chemo his PSA is rising again currently 7.5 at present. We are about to have another PSMA to look for any bone target that might be worth some radiotherapy, just incase it is one or two sites that have progressed.

PSA Up During Docetaxel, Scan indicates progression. Determined, Next step??
Started on
Docetaxel
with minimal side effects, However, after second treatment PSA rose from 4 to 11.3. MO discontinued
Docetaxel
after 5th treatment when scans indicated disease progression. And now Barry's in pain!! I thought he'd escape that, at least for longer.

Bilateral pleural effusions and basil pulmonary atelectasis
He developed lymphedema on both legs and one arm right after his 6th
Docetaxel
on December 5, 2019. Does the above new development have to do with lymphedema or is it something else?

Failed xtandi, zytiga,
docetaxel
. I know hospice is around the corner and we are also waiting phone calls on a couple of immunotherapy trials. My question is there anything left to try at this point?

Anyone taking Darolutamide develope asthenia, a known side effect? I've read similar SEs with Xtandi, so is this with all lutamide drugs?

Docetaxel, Chemo in general
His doctors have all told him to start
Docetaxel
right away, at least to buy him time until the study begins. He is adamantly against chemo and believes he will get sick until he dies. Period, He is in excruciating pain now but as far as we can tell still only has Mets to bones.

PSA measures and Chemo
I have begun
Docetaxel
infusion completing the first cycle. Are PSA measures meaningful during chemo? My Doctor runs PSA, but places more emphasis on bone scans. I am continuing with Xtandi and Lupron during the chemo.

Dr says Enzalutimide... what about Cabazitaxel?
I've made it into my 50s, living with cancer for about 8 years now... 2012: Diagnosis Gleason 4+4=8 and tx with Cyberknife (PSA 21) 2014: Scans confirm metastatic disease confirmed in lungs and one bone lesion (PSA 10), tx with 6 rounds
Docetaxel
and begin Lupron/Casodex 2018: PSA first becomes detectable

Chemo-related neuropathy developing despite ice mitts and socks. Anything that can be added now?
My husband is about to get infusion #6 of
Docetaxel
in three days. He's been religious about using the ice mitts and ice socks during the infusion. (He doesn't use an ice cap on his head.) Despite the ice regime, this week he started to feel some tingling in his heel and fingertips.

Upfront Docetaxel - STAMPEDE trial update.
There was good evidence of benefit of
docetaxel
over SOC on OS (HR = 0.81, 95% CI 0.69-0.95, P = 0.009) with no evidence of heterogeneity of
docetaxel
effect between metastatic burden sub-groups (interaction P = 0.827).

Maybe some one can tell me how to have Lu177 in Germany?
Doctor in my country and singapore said i must take
docetaxel
for 10 times. But im avoiding chemotheraphy because i feel i cant deal with the side effect. Im contacting with bookinghealth and they gave me an option to have Lu177 in Charite or Helios hospital. The cost estimated €29,000.

Docetaxel
or Zytiga I’m 66 years old and was just diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. It has spread to bones, lungs and lymph node. My PSA was 29, grade 3 and Gleason score 7. I live in Canada and the standard of care is chemo or Zytiga. I’m on ADT.
