Finally Something’s Working
Zytiga, Provenge, 8 rounds of
Docetaxel
and, now, Pluvicto. As is standard, after my third round of Pluvicto I had a PSMA PET scan. Finally, something seems to be working. I have numerous mets to my bones and lymph nodes.

Good News! Pluvicto Update
The news seems promising: On 28 January (after
docetaxel
, but before Pluvicto), my PSA was 36.2. After 2 rounds of Pluvicto on 8 April, my PSA had dropped to 14.5! So, I am remaining positive! I have a follow up PSMA-PET scan scheduled 17 May.

And now this.
I’m waiting to start Carboplatin after
Docetaxel
was stopped. PARP inhibitor not indicated. The Oncologist is talking about non-standard treatment and I’m feeling like it’s the end of the road. In addition, I’ve been diagnosed with heart failure.

Treatment for low-PSA mHSPCa
The only study I can find on treatment for low-PSA: "Mortality Risk for
Docetaxel
-Treated, High-Grade Prostate Cancer With Low PSA Levels: A Meta-Analysis | Oncology | JAMA Network Open" | indicates that adding
docetaxel
to SOC for low-PSA patients had very good results, however this was for non-metastatic

Docetaxel and Carboplatin
My oncologist is recommending a chemo concoction of
Docetaxel
and Carboplatin. It’s the last item on the shelf. Have any of you guys had this combo before? How did it go? Thanks, ya’ll! JoeyDad

options after Docetaxel
Once his PSA starting trending upwards he was put on several sessions of
Docetaxel
. Unfortunately at this time, he did not received Lupron as he should have. By this time his PSA was up to 67. As soon as he received the Lupron, it dropped to 26.

hair loss
I was wondering what others experience has been with hair loss during
docetaxel
. I completed my 10th round on May 2. After my first five treatments, I didn’t really lose any hair, and then the last five it got thinner, but I still had a decent amount.

How many treatments of Chemo can the body handle
I have had 7 cycles of
docetaxel
and 3 of cabazitaxel. The oncologist wants to continue with another 7 cycles of cabazitaxel. My question is how much of this poison can the body handle. Does this chemo destroy things permanently in the body. I know that the fatigue is taking over.

Elevated Liver Enzymes
Husband on Triplet Therapy Orgovyx, Nubeqa and
Docetaxel
for Stage IV GL9 with bone mets. First chemo cycle completed. Second chemo was canceled as his ALT numbers were very high (305). AST also elevated at 94. ALP is within normal range.

Second Line Hormonal
I have been treated with
docetaxel
again and thought it might re-sensitize me for another hormonal drug. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with a situation like this. My thoughts are that I should be trying everything available that could slow my progression.

Pain post SBRT
Completed 6 cycles of
docetaxel
4 wks ago. Started SBRT yesterday. My side effects thus far were all expected and I was prepared for them. Last night had severe back pain (8 out of 10) which lasted for 3-4 hours. It was not cardiac or bone pain per se'.

More data about ARASENS, applied to the european part of the study population
And the benefit is such that it confirms that even when you give
docetaxel
, an early introduction of the AR pathway inhibitor is critical for the survival of these patients."

Docetaxel
Hello everyone, My husband is having
Docetaxel
after Thanksgiving. Can anyone recommend prescriptions that I should ask for before treatment for Nausea and Vomiting? In case of Neuropathy, I bought the gloves and feet things with the ice things and I have Gabapentine.

Docetaxal chemotherapy
They just took me off of it and want to give me
Docetaxel
infusions. I am 85 and my cancer is just starting to metastasize around my lymph nodes. My question is about the side effects of this chemo drug. What has been your experience? Thank you in Advance. Gary

Zytiga vs Nubeqa for Triple Therapy
I've consulted with 3 oncologist and all recommend triple therapy: Lupron alongside 6 rounds of
Docetaxel
, plus an ARPI. While two oncologists recommend Nubeqa, one strongly advocates for Zytiga instead.

Following SOC here in BC Canada
Started with ADT and
Docetaxel
. Was able to be castrate sensitive for 4.5 years. Tried to add Abiraterone and it failed after a couple of months. Had Radium 223 and it was okay but did nothing to the PSA. Cancer kept progressing and had to get targeted radiation to painful spots on ribs.
