Thank you and more questions
First, thank you for those who have commented/offered advice on my prostate cancer treatment questions. Much appreciated as I move forward on this journey. I have recently read about a new tumor focused cancer treatment out of the City of Hope. Experimental, but seems to be able to focus action on

No treatment. No faith. No hope.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 years ago at age 56. I have decided to not have treatment since my doctor said I would never be able to have an erection again, and as a gay man that would be a living hell to have much desire but no outlet. I have no faith in anything or anyone, much less a higher

Continue on Eclipse Trial or not?
After my 3rd LU 177I&T injection my PSA had become nondetectable, and the nuclear bone scans could did not shiw any tumors. Originally had three tumors for spine two very small and one medium. They seem to have disappeared. Given the danger of unnecessary toxins from a fourth injection, the question

Need help in understanding PSA level recurrence after treatment.
In May 2023 I completed what the doctor hope would be a curative treatment of 38 sessions of radiotherapy accompanied by 2.25 years on Lupron + Zytiga. During that treatment, my PSA fell to < 0.01 and remained there until the end of the treatment. I had a blood test taken last Friday and it shows that

PSMA Pylarify Test
Finally getting a PSMA Pylarify test after a PSA rise from 0.64 to 0.90 in 11 weeks. Should be interesting. No symptoms from the cancer so far. At the current PSA level it would appear there is an almost 90% chance of locating cancer somewhere. Also of some great interest to the doctor(s) is my status

Intermittent ADT
Hi all,I am wondering what are your views on intermittent ADT? PSMA Pet scan has revealed one met in my ribs...it was treated with SBRT. I was given a 3 month Lupron shot which reduces my PSA to 0.24 ug/l. I'm considering going on IADT....6 months of ADT followed by 6 months break and repeat. Anyone

Living life after a prostatectomy
In 2021 was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I went through the operation and 2 months later lost my spouse of almost 50 years. Obviously, I had a lot put on my plate at one time. I'm on hormone therapy and it's dropped my PSA from 1 to .1. I would love to talk to someone who is going through the same

Supplements and self-care
Hi everyone, I am new to this site and to this forum. It has been a wealth of information. I know there have been plenty of other threads, regarding supplements, and how we take care of ourselves, but some of them have aged and just wanted to start a fresh one. I am 53 and was diagnosed with stage

Hi all, I’m new to the group, stage 4 met — lymph and bone. Pretty scary stuff. Started with Dox which reduced my PSA from 2200(!) to now around 1200. I’m deep in it. I just had my second pluvocto treatment and hoping for the best. What’s hurting the most is feeling abandoned by my family,

Bicalutamide shortage?
I’ve been on Bicalutamide 50 mg monotherapy for four years . When I received my last refill for 90 tablets, I was given only 14 tablets and told their supplier didn’t know when more would be available. After checking 3 other pharmacies in Florence Oregon , I was able to get 30 more tablets. Next I enrolled

Pluvicto, Not Helping
I just had round 5 of Pluvicto on August 10th. I don't see where is is helping much, if any, at all. My PSA before entering round 5 is now over 400. I'm so anemic I've had two blood transfusions in the past 30 days. When I went in for round 5 I was so weak and frail that I had to be pushed around in

Interesting PSA observation
For my prostate cancer journey, please see my bio. In 06/2023 I was also diagnosed with testicle lymphoma, maybe as a side effect of earlier radiation. Testicle has been removed, PET/CT & co showed no other evidence of cancer. So I perform four cycles of R-CHOP chemo regimen. Why I post this here? After

Could PSA of 3.0 be a problem?
My 48 year old son lives in Norway. He was recently contacted by their hereditary cancer clinic and advised that his PSA had increased to 3.0 from from last years 2.5. They felt that's a little high for his age and are going to call him in for an MR and a new PSA test. Is this any cause for concern
