Digoxin for persistent AF - side effects?
I have already posted this morning, but would like like to know how others have got on with Digoxin? I have just been prescribed it for persistent AF and feeling v nervous about taking it, having read the possible side effects. I was on Amiodarone for 2 years and felt the same about that initially

"Slave to the rhythm" - again!
I have been in persistent AF since 28th Feb, having had to come off Amiodarone (which worked well at controlling my AF but the side effects of the over active thyroid made me feel really ill). I referred myself back to an EP I had seen once previously as is hopeless trying to see someone on the NHS at

How to check heart rate?
My heart rate is in the 70 and 80s so why is this called AFib..? I do have days when my heart rate is 120 to 140. I am on Eliquis, Digoxin and Verapamil .Monitor self with Kardia which really helps since I do not know if a radical pulse rate is accurate.

Digoxin question
I am a nurse and am hoping your Dr gave you some parameters of what your pulse should be before taking dig daily. Generally if your pulse is slower than 60 you should not take dig that day . Do you take your pulse daily? Check with your Dr if he hasn't given you any parameters

AF and muscle pain.
Hi all I was diagnosed with AF at the start of May and am due to have a cardioversion on the 4th July. Have been put on the following medication but my heartbeat is still averaging 100 to 120. These readings are coming from the Kardia I purchased. Should I be worried about this and tell my cardiologist

To stop Verapamil or not
I had a relatively successful ablation on August 1st 2018 and for several months I had no AFib at all but was still on Digoxin and Bisporolol 7.5. I had a follow up appointment with my EP in Aberdeen who said I could just stop taking both of the above but would remain on Rivaroxaban for life. I stopped

Starting Digoxin
My Afib started after a bout with pneumonia about 4 months ago along with severe dehydration, over worked, stressed, etc. Started me on meds (apixaban, perindopril, bisoprolol and statins). Terrible tiredness and dizziness. They did a cardioversion but it didn't take. Now they're talking about ablation

CHRONIC PALPITATION
I've had this palpitation for some time now, it flows with my normal heart rate (not faster) but really pounding & disturbing. Have been to the hospital, went thru ECG & Echo, and my heart was certified ok, yet the pounding continued. Went to a pharmacist who prescribed Bisoprolol for me; it only brought
