Follow up after diagnostic lap confirming Endometriosis - what to expect?!
They confirmed Endometriosis at multiple sites and used
diathermy
on these areas and fitted a mirena coil. Since this time I have experienced the same symptoms as I did pre-op and if not more. I don’t want to be fobbed off at my appointment and taken seriously. Any advice? Similar experiences?

Feeling totally confused
I also had
diathermy
to clear out the uterus. I was told it had probably taken the time since I’ve come off he pill (so 7 years) to build up to that stage so given I still hope to conceive she didn’t feel it would be problematic to carry on without coil or pill for a year.

Lap recovery - how was it for you?
I’m 2 weeks post lap and hysteroscopy tomorrow, had quite a lot of endo removed via
diathermy
and also a uterine polyp taken out.

How long is recovery post diagnostic laproscopy/diathermy/mirena insertion?!
Visible endo was treated with
diathermy
from a variety of places (pelvic walls, ligaments, pouch of douglas etc) and the mirena coil was fitted surgically at the same time. I was told to visit GP in 4-6 weeks post op for review and mirena coil check.

When will I know for sure?!
I was abit out of it but I did see, endometriotic deposits found -
diathermy
to endometriosis. Mirena coil fitted as well. Does this mean I have endo? The nurse said they would write to me with their findings? How long will I wait?

Endo returning
I was diagnosed with endo and the surgeon managed to remove quite a lot after
diathermy
. He told me the endo was quite severe (which makes sense as it had taken 10 years to diagnose).

Post Lap pain and emotions
They used a
diathermy
to treat everything and fitted a mirena coil. Now I just feel so sore inside. It is like chronic burning pain and when I stand it feels like it's is all pulling downwards. I also hurt to pee and my bladder feels really sensitive.

Excision or Ablation-whats better?
I've had two laparoscopic procedures with
diathermy
before but its come back after couple of years each time. Now I have the option to have excision procedure and wondered if that would be better.

First lap.
In my report it said they used
diathermy
to remove endometriosis from pod and womb and 2cm chocolate cyst on left ovary and a 1cm cyst on right. I have been reading trying to figure out what stage this is does anybody know?

🎉Diagnosis endometriosis 🎉 Almost 5 years ttc 4 ivfs and 1 miscarriage!!!
So I had my laporoscopy yesterday and I had
diathermy
endometriosis on my left ovary but not on my right where I get the pelvic pain 🤔 which confused me. I'm wondering if it was my right ovary though as my incision on the right hurts but I can't feel the left.
