Partner with pancreatitis, now on a ventilator, 5 week old baby at home
He’s on a
dialysis
machine too. We were told his lungs heart and kidneys were failing. He had a drain put in yesterday to get rid of some old blood. And they let him try to breath a little on his own too but put him back on the ventilators as it was very tiring for him.

My 62 year old daddy on a ventilator from covid complications and lung scarring.
He is on
dialysis
now as well which is helping with his swelling as well as his kidney function. They give very little hope. I am wondering if anyone has had this experience and if they found any solutions for lung scarring?

New here, advice needed to support Dad.
Dad is 81 and is just starting his 6th year on
dialysis
. We were aware that there would be a time limit to its effectiveness and we think he is reaching that now. He barely eats and I wondered if that's common?

New, targeted therapy inhibits specific immune cells associated with lupus nephritis
Several medications currently available can effectively treat lupus nephritis, but in patients who don't respond well to these treatments, the disease can progress to such an extent that the only way to keep them alive is through
dialysis
or a kidney transplant.

Dialysis Center
I lost my transplanted kidney in July 2021 after 10 years. Now doing hemodialysis at a center. The staff are not trained well. They don’t sanitize probably. They are not professional at all. I’ve voiced my concerns but have to be careful because of retaliation. It’s awful. My anxiety is through the

Praying for a A+ kidney donor
If I receive a transplant soon, I will avoid
dialysis
, which is debilitating. My blood type is A+ and I live in Florida. Please reach out to me if you are interested in donating a kidney

COVID CAUSES LOSS OF KIDNEY FUNCTION AND POSSIBLE DIALYSIS IN HEALTHY PEOPLE
I was very surprised when I googled covid and CKD to find out from reputable medical sites that covid causes CKD, AKI (acute kidney injury) ,
dialysis
and even death to people who do not have CKD. You are more vunerable to any of these outcomes.

My husband hasCKD. I’m so scared
Doctor really scared us by telling us that at his age he would properly require
Dialysis
and a kidney transplant. We have an appointment to see a specialist on December 14th. I’m so scared because we have three beautiful girls together that still need him for more years to come.

Panel Discussion Dec 14th with diaTribe on Kidney and Diabetes
The reality is that one in three people with diabetes has chronic kidney disease and faces the possibility of
dialysis
. But kidney disease is not inevitable, and with early diagnosis, new treatments and approaches can slow its progression and keep your kidneys functioning.
