I’m seeking anyone with personal experience or knowledge of someone else undergoing Pluvicto while on dialysis. We are running into many roadblocks getting my dad Pluvicto, because the dialysis center wants his first dialysis after each Pluvicto infusion to be done somewhere else. We have so far been unsuccessful in locating a facility who will provide that initial dialysis treatment.
Alternatively, any knowledge of someone on dialysis receiving iodine treatment will be helpful, as the protocols will be the same.
It is shocking to us that we should be having these issues when the oncologist is willing to do the Pluvicto!

"... many roadblocks getting my dad Pluvicto, because the dialysis center wants his first dialysis after each Pluvicto infusion to be done somewhere else."
Probably because they don't want their equipment to process the residual radioactivity in the blood so soon after treatment.
We have been telling everyone we will purchase a machine if necessary. I feel like he is being denied life saving care over logistics that we already provided a solution for. This is crazy!
I don't understand. Neither the dialysis centers or the Plucicto place care if you buy your own machine. So you could just buy the dialysis machine for as long as needed for Pluvicto.
I have a cousin who bought and used a dialysis machine for about a year. They are very expensive and you have to get trained on it. And then you bear the responsibility for the success. After Pluvicto, you might want to continue using the machine, or not. If not, I don't know if they have much resale value, especially one that is disclosed as being used during Pluvicto.
I checked the H.U. history file and couldn't find the Pluvicto while on dialysis string.
Would you please update your dear Dad's BIO. All info is voluntary, and will help your Dad/you and help us too. Suggestion of info: His age, location, meds, Psa and Gleason scores, doctor(s) names, treatment center(s) and etc. Than you!
That's okay...Just be concerned about your Dad..... Update when you can. Can you tell us his age and location (city state)? Thank you..... Give our regards to your dear Dad and tell him to enjoy his Christmas (you too). Tell him he raised a wonderful and caring offspring (male or female?)..
